Additional information
Positive aspects of school
I've done the junior course before and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to come back. This time too it was a really great experience. Thank you to all of the people that made this happen! I'll definitely come back for more English courses. They're situated in the centre of Canterbury, so after class you can go wander around and explore Canterbury.
Negative aspects
It would be handy to get a bit more information about the school and accessibility before the first day instead of on the first day. Because we had figured it out ourselves before getting the information bundle, so it wasn't that helpful anymore.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Try to do at least some of the activities organised by the school, it's a really good way to bond with your fellow students outside of the school building and it'll help improve your skill.
City/place
It's not a very big city, but every time you wander around you'll discover something new. There's so much fun things to do, except maybe for clubs or dancings, but that didn't bother us the slightest.
Quality of teaching / language progress
There's a test in the beginning of the week, so you'll be put into a class that matches your level. The amount of hours you sign up for determines whether you have afternoon classes or not.

Maybe for little children but with teenagers is better to be with the juniors so they can practice English with the group.

Positive aspects of school
Everyone was friendly, welcoming and caring! Classes in the morning were very effective and professional.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Don't take classes in the afternoon if you want to see something in Canterbury and Kent. Everything is closed at 6 p.m.: museums, gardens, shops. So, if you just take morning classes and finish at 12.30, you can visit a lot! It's worth seeing beautiful coastal towns in Kent!
Other comments
Collin, the Director of the school, gave us a very interesting tour to Folkenstone! We enjoyed listening to fascinating stories about kings' and dukes' lives and some history about the beautiful houses.
City/place
I absolutely love this city! History is all around you! It's small and medieval, there are city walls and it feels like you are in a fairy-tale.
Accommodation
I lived in St George's Apartment! It was very comfortable. The room is quite small, but it has everything you need.

The teachers were all great. Although the level of my first class was too easy for me (similar to the high school level), the school didn't change my class at first. The school reallocated me to another class after my third request. It seems that I wasted my time during taking the unmatched class. The school should offer a level check test(progress test) more often.

The accommodation was awful. The family was never with them. The left the key under a plan for a 10-year old and a 13-year old to use. The day I picked them up, the were all alone and they came with me. But they could have left with someone else. The food was awful and not enough. I am very happy with the school but, regarding the house, I hope they take into account what I am saying since my kids don't ever want to stay with a family and this is not the first family my daughter stayed with.

Other comments
A big problem regarding host family accomodation : I called the family the day before departure, and I discovered that she could not host me and that she had warned the school. Fortunately the person I contacted on the emergency number solved the pb. But it is a bad surprise the evening before departure. Especially as I was not as close to the school as before. Moreover the school's address was not good: I've discovered this upon arrival. The new family was very friendly and caring but the house was not clean
