Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The school has many socially and linguistically competent teachers who are the school's strength! In my opinion, most of them have been able to support the students' language skills. This was important to me personally.
Negative aspects
Although the afternoon activities were very varied, I would like to see more cultural excursions. That way you could learn more about Malta.
City/place
The city is relatively touristy. This makes it both lively and crowded. In my opinion, it has good public transport connections to many other places on the island.
Quality of teaching / language progress
A very good course, language intensive. Suitable for people who want to improve their speaking English.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Good school, very helpful staff and teachers, I really enjoyed the lessons and classmates (all from different countries).
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, one day a week is devoted entirely to a test and this wastes hours of class time. Furthermore, in the classes there are both people staying for a short time and people who have been attending for several months and therefore have different needs.
City/place
City entirely dedicated to the nightlife of Paceville. Besides that, one most probably has to move elsewhere. It is not advisable for longer stays.
Accommodation
Excellent accommodation with large common areas!

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
I liked that there were no other Japanese students and that we could stay at Campus Hub and participate in activities with almost the same people. The staff came to each room every morning to announce when we woke up, and the meals three times a day were delicious.
Negative aspects
Although it was not a problem with the school, 6-7 German students were late for class, did not show up, talked privately loudly, mocked others, bothered other students online, etc. The staff called and warned them, but they did not change much. It was a pity.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Please do not hesitate to talk to the staff and teachers.
Other comments
My son is delighted with it. I can't thank you enough.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Very good quality teaching, with good workbooks, teaching materials and learning structure. Classes are organized in such a way that there are as few changes as possible between weeks and most of the time the air conditioning is running/functioning
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, the program was very meager. During the week there was a city trip in the evening and 1/2 trips at the weekend, which were very nice. There is 1 program in the calendar every day of the week, but sometimes it only refers to an event from another provider or, for example, it is the same every week on Mondays. The school is made for learning and unfortunately not for activities. Furthermore, the average age is significantly higher than stated (approx. 25), the gender ratio is significantly more female and most of the students come from Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Japan and Turkey (estimated 80%).
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Order the Tallinja Card in advance and have it delivered to the school. Ideally, however, you should do this 2 months in advance and ask after 1 month whether it has arrived and, if necessary, ask again, as there are often problems. Then travel from the airport to the campus for €2.5 and on Monday to the school for €2.5 and then travel for as long as you like with the card, which costs around €30 once (the card is valid indefinitely, for free bus transportation), rather than paying €25 a week for the bus ticket.
Other comments
The staff is very friendly, takes care of every request and takes a lot of time for it. Some of the staff are very young and you can communicate with them at eye level.
City/place
St Julian is a very tourist-obsessed city. There is garbage everywhere and the nightlife is very active and loud. You rarely come across locals, older people are quickly noticed if they have any problems. There is direct access to the sea and many stores. The bus system is unfortunately a pure overpriced disaster. 25 per week for buses that arrive late, don't arrive at all or pass by due to overcrowding.
Quality of teaching / language progress
I learned a lot in this course, it was a great experience with two different teachers and classes. However, next time I would only take the semi-intensive course and use the other time for self-study and spend time with other students, as you can also gain a lot of experience by talking.
Accommodation
The Campus Hub is a very nice area with lots of opportunities. It is only 4.5 km away from the school, but it takes 45 minutes to get to school by bus in the morning according to the timetable, and most of the time also at lunchtime. Buses are constantly late. The kitchens are quite dirty, the bathroom is quickly under water as there is no proper shower tray and you can hear every door in the hallway/from the room that closes. The room is equipped with its own desk and pleasant air conditioning.
