Positive aspects of school:
I highly recommend France Langue Paris Notre Dame if you are planning to study French in Paris. The organisation and administration of the school is fantastic. I was only doing a one week course and yet all of my questions and requests were dealt with quickly. I managed to change classes 3 times in just one week and every teacher I had was kind and friendly but also very professional and effective.

Great school. Good value for money. I studied here from January to September, I started studying the language from scratch and now my level is b1, and I am preparing for a B2 exam.

I was only there a week. During this week I have not been able to participate in activities which I regretted. For this a course of at least 2 weeks is recommended. Also for booking progress with the language. Yet I have had a valuable week. I'm sure I'll be back next year for a longer stay.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
It is very important and the school does not have it specified on their page, that there is no guarantee that the course will take place at the centre the student registers for. That is to say, after the level test they decide, according to the quota, if you study in Notre Dame or in Victor Hugo.

Other comments:
The school is in a great location. The teacher was very good. However, the school is a bit run down and worse for wear. For me, I was very disappointed to be put in the B2 class which was too easy for me. It was fine when the teacher was teaching and in solo activities but I was far above the rest of the class when we had to do group work. The school would not put me up a level which was very disappointing. The school had made it sound very easy to move in the opening presentation but when I asked to move, they said they would only do it on the teacher's recommendation.
