Positive aspects of school
Great, experienced teachers, who respond to their students individually and pay attention to their progress. They also manage this in the group. The lessons are very lively. I can definitely recommend the school. I have learned a lot here and can use my new knowledge in everyday life. Muito obrigada.
City/place
Barra is a beautiful neighbourhood in Salvador and leaves you in no doubt about what to do.

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
Very nice teachers, friendly reception.
Negative aspects
The building is in a bad state of repair and during a thunderstorm it rained through the ceiling of the school room. Dark rooms, some without windows.
No structure to the lessons and poor course book. The reality does not match the pictures on the website. Everything is very run down and cannot be blamed solely on the pandemic
City/place
Like many cities in Brazil, Salvador is also characterised by poverty and crime. Police and military are present everywhere for protection and you are instructed to leave valuables at home and, if possible, not to show your mobile phone and camera. There is no real holiday feeling and it doesn't help that the people are very open and friendly. Since the crime rate in Rio or São Paulo is also high or even worse, we had no alternative but to book a Portuguese course in Salvador.
