Quality of teaching / language progress
Don´t deliver what they advertise. False advertising. Grade of students and formation of groups very bad. Mixed level groups are not good for immersion courses. General coordination very poor and little or no intervention of the owners in the running of the school and dealing with the dissatisfaction of the students. You should start and finish your courses with the same group rather than introducing new students every week, which only deters the good development of one group.

You get SIM cards at school (Vodacom), and you do not have to buy them at the airport first
Other comments
It is a very small and very familiar school with high quality standards. The average age is slightly higher and therefore perfect for Business Courses. You felt welcome from the first day, well cared for and excellent care in all matters. The lessons are excellent. (Thanks to Steven and Janeen) The student accommodation is also excellent. Close to school, 2x / week cleaning like a hotel service.

Positive aspects of school
Interlink is a small school; so it is possible to know all the students very quickly. I had a very good teacher. The lessons were intensive with working in pairs. One hour homework every evening. A good mix of young students and elderly students
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Most students are coming from Germany and Switzerland. The best option is probably to go to school only in the morning so you have more time to visit Cape Town and the rhythm is not too intensive. A very good homestay. You don't need to take the dinner by the host. For safety reasons you can't go alone to the city centre. Uber car works very well: the car is coming very quickly and the price is cheap. The cost life is cheap for Europeans.
Other comments
A very small school (30 students). The school's managers and the teachers are doing their best for your lessons and for the evening activities. I think it is probably the best school for elderly people.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
It is perfect for studying general English. There are lot of intensive lessons, training of various skills (Writing, Reading, Listening). But it's not suitable for international exams preparation. The teacher for these lessons was really incompetent and lazy.
Other comments
Perfect for levels up to upper intermediate. My level is Upper-intermediate/Advanced, and I turned out to be the best student in the class and I corrected grammatical errors of my classmates. However, I studied in July. Perhaps, in winter there are more students there and they are of a higher level. Again, the school is perfect for Elementary-intermediate levels.

The school is very small, located in one of the most beautiful locations in the town, in my case I have not been satisfied with the approach and the teaching level. I invested four weeks and done a job that could be done in half of the time.
Other comments
Too many gaps in the method of teaching and the level of my teacher. The school offers very few social activities.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
For new students who stay for a longer period, the school should organise a short meeting on the first day with students speaking the same language. Often, questions and problems can be articulated easier in the mother tongue. Especially for younger students and for longer stays.
Other comments
There should also be dictionaries in other languages, for example German-English etc.

As a senior I felt very comfortable with the mostly young students and I will recommend my friends this way of learning a language. I was lucky to learn with non-German-speaking students which is not always possible. The teachers and the really nice ladies from the back office converted my stay into a special event. My heartfelt thanks to the team of the school.

Positive aspects of school
What I liked most was the relaxed atmosphere between the pupils and teachers, so no stress. Whenever I had a problem, they helped me in a very calm and objective way. I can definitely recommend this school, and I plan to continue my studies there at the end of the year. I felt very comfortable there and learned a lot. A big thank you for that!

The school school: it has few students, so it is ideal for a good language learning, but not ideal to make friends and explore the city.

The school and also the classes are very small and you will find more attention of the teachers. On the other hand it is more difficult to find other students for leisure activities. The city is very interesting and I could find (in December) a lot of good places to go out, at every day of the week.

interlink is a small pretty school. i spent 6months in it and every day was different. the interlink teachers are efficient and you can speak easily with any of them. they aren't bored to spend times to explain the same thing again and again. they really take care of students and at first when you're quite lost, because of the language, it's wonderful. they don't hesitate to employ other teachers even if it's only for one student (they did it for me) and it's great because few schools would have done the same. i can't tell anything else or better! it was 6 wonderful months. and my english improved! the family are well choosen and it's very important to speak properly english almost in South Africa. to conclude : Cape Town is a wonderful city! thanks a lot to the interlink team :-)

i think that every student should stay within a host family inside the main house because he/she can't improve his/her language skills without practicing it, i used to stay with the host family but unfortunately my room was outside the house, so i didn't see them except for a few times.
