Additional information
Positive aspects of school:
The location of the school is excellent, although it is small, but it's not an issue. The welcome to the students is very good, the administration team is always very kind. The director cares about learning and is simply amazing. The only thing I didn't like was my teacher, unfortunately I couldn't change it. I was also upset because at the end of the course, when I received the certificate, we took a picture, me and the director, but one of the school's employee justo forgot to send the picture to me. From this day on I'm waiting... I have even texted him on whatsapp, but I've got no response.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
Saint Julian's is really a great place to stay because it's not as crowded as Sliema and you can get to know the whole island by public transportation.
Other comments:
Despite not staying at the school's residence, I've visited the place and realized that it may be a great option for young students.

Other comments:
I think that International House could prepare specific material for each course and, as possible, split classmates by level. I had some problems with my afternoon classes because the English level of some students was very different.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
The beginner´s level does not exist at the school, it is necessary to come with a good vocabulary and basic knowledge of grammar, no one will bother to explain you if something is not very clear to you
Other comments:
Do not book an intensive course and individual lessons, it's a waste of time and money, do not book more than one course of the week, it is better to extend while you are there if you like it. The teachers are rude and not very attentive, especially Morin. They pay attention only to students who know English

Other comments:
I have not noticed a uniform and organized method of teaching among the teachers. It's fine for a few weeks but it results tedious and counterproductive if you stay for a few months.

Other comments:
The school does not inform that even though the Senior Package is apparently sold and offered to senior students - the student might end up in the class full of teenagers - as classes are combined according to the English level and not age. That was informed a couple of days ahead of the start of the course. that was the biggest unfairness of the school even though at the end the group was small and senior, and overall experience was great.

The school was small (only 6 classrooms), but familial. The school offered guided tours, but no parties for get together in the evening like in big schools. But that wasn't a problem. The students met each other to go out or for sightseeing. Elicia was a very good teacher because she corrected our mistakes a lot and she had a good feeling why we made this mistakes due to our native language. I would choose this school again. I liked my guest family. Some students changed their guest family, which was no problem.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss:
I advise you to watch your English level after you have first week in IH maybe you would manage to change to higher level (e.g. from intermediate to upper-intermediate). You should take mini-group lessons. If you want to see as many sights of Malta as possible you should take a course without afternoon lessons. Otherwise you can take trips only on your weekend. All information about trips around Malta, bus stops, accommodation is available at reception.
Other comments:
If you dislike something (teacher, lessons, class etc.) or you decided to change your group you should just talk with the school director or reception staff. Your preference and wishes will be heard and accepted as soon as possible. Anyway my English experience with IH in Malta was great, thank you!
