Positive aspects of school
I was lucky that there were only three of us, once four and otherwise only two. It was like private lessons. Our teacher was extremely competent. She explained things really well, was very humorous and very friendly.
Negative aspects
Unfortunately, there were no afternoon activities on offer. But I didn't ask either.
Other comments
Super nice people.
City/place
Limerick is a nice little city. However, there is not much to see. Sightseeing is quickly done. I went on two excursions by bus. Galway and Killaloe. A car would be a better way to go on great excursions.
Quality of teaching / language progress
It was perfect for me.
Accommodation
My landlady was very nice and helpful, food good, nice neighbourhood. Rooms were not that clean. I often walked between the school and the accommodation because I had time. There is a bus service nearby. It takes about 25 minutes by bus.

The organisation..the structure..the quality of the teaching was a bit so-so..as the teacher of the first morning part was not very empathetic and communicative and his way of teaching was very hasty.

Positive aspects of school
Individual wishes of the students regarding the learning content can be taken into account.
The school offers many activities to improve language skills in direct exchange with fellow students.
Other comments
All teaching staff also offer help to students with other problems that go beyond English lessons
City/place
Limerick was perfect for my educational leave. The city is very well laid out and there are no problems getting from point A to B on foot or by bike. Public transport is flexible except on Sundays. The city is beautiful to look at both day and night due to the adjacent river, the Shannon and various churches, castles and cathedrals.
Limerick also offers a very advantageous geographical location if you are interested in travelling: the most important travel destinations in Ireland can be reached in a very short time, which is why you can travel to various destinations in one day even without a hotel.
Quality of teaching / language progress
The course format is designed so that new students can join the courses every Monday. The open course format allows for a dynamic experience, as new groups of students can always emerge in the course. There is no linear course format. Instead, all the skills needed for the CAE or AILTS are taught to the students. Individual wishes of the students are also catered for, if they lend themselves to the lessons.
Accommodation
Host family fulfilled all services offered to my full satisfaction. In addition, I was able to prepare additional meals at any time without extra charge.

I was punctual at 8:30 for the level test and I did it almost an hour later, so I lost the first class. There was poor course planning. It was exam week at school so I missed two days of course. The management should have an alternative for new students.

Other comments
The school is quite small in terms of room but it includes 3 buildings. In case of problem of language level or housing the administration remains at your disposal. The human encounters are just great (especially for young 18-20) I went there in summer so I do not know the atmosphere during other periods. Ps: When I arrived I was the only French so I have a lot (not had the choice) to work my English well.

The distance from school to home, when it is a family, is generally longer than 30-35 minutes walking. Public transport is bad and nonexistent in some routes.
Other comments
In my opinion, they should improve some academic aspects. They could offer through a website, for example, exercises and activities that allow students to practice and progress according to their level. Much grammar is taught, which is fine, but it is not enough. It is important to improve listening comprehension and writing skills. A web page with guided exercises, with an access code, if the centre wants it, would help to improve these aspects.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
In my case, my teachers were great, the theory is somehow hard and you must work fast. What I saw is that a good result is achieved in 6 months, studying hard and practicing quite a lot. In my class more than half of us spoke Spanish, but you have to care that people only communicate in English with you. Staying at a host family was a great idea because you learn a lot and a great practice.
Other comments
The school is very good regarding to language orientation, price and quality. Teachers which corresponded me were excellent, but one more than the other, I need to clarify. If you feel that there is no connection between the method-teacher and you, inform the coordinator Alan for him to collaborate with you on time.

A lot of students from Arab countries, who at every opportunity try to speak their own language, even during the lesson. Teachers practically do not react at this. And it's not very good for learning English.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
If you really want to get in touch with the Irish Culture, go to a host family and ask them about everything.
Then you won't stay there as a guest. You'll be a part of their family and go to Pubs etc. where you get in touch with more Irish people and practice your skills.
Try to organise a group of students, rent a car and travel around!
Ireland was worth every € and Limerick, as ugly as it is, is right in the middle of places like Cork, Galway (Aran Islands, Cliffs), Killarney, Dingle, Ring of Kerry etc. etc.
Don't be shy, enjoy your time and take your time to fall in love with Guinness:)

* It usually rains.
* Spanish students are usually placed in the same apartments. The Spanish apartments are usually messier than the other ones.
* It looks like the teachers are not very keen on Spanish students.
* At night (after 20.00), try not to walk around on your own, it is better to go with someone, as the city is said to be dangerous to some extent.

Sharing a flat is fun. Try to use the weekends to travel around (Dublin, Cliff of Mohen, etc.). It is quite an ugly town, weird food, and very expensive alcoholic drinks. Other than that, you will really enjoy and you will learn English.
