Positive aspects of school
+: very nice staff, friendly, teacher Valeria was super nice
Negative aspects
-: The learning success depends on which teacher you are given. Unfortunately, Valeria is great, but not very strict and rather slow - more dialogue with the teacher and other students would be great. As this is the most difficult part. You can practise reading and writing on your own in the afternoon - speaking is more difficult in a new city where you don't know anyone (it's not very easy to get into Italian groups or to get to know people who don't speak English).
Accommodation
+: very central, diverse area, great bar (bar rondo), supermarket very close, bright, huge, 4 rooms with 2 bathrooms and kitchen, fully equipped, a cleaner every Monday, very nice flatmates who have now become friends - all flatmates are also in the language school. Unfortunately no ceiling light - makes the room dark in winter. -: When I moved in I noticed that the whole kitchen was full of cockroaches, the washing machine was broken and covered in white and black mouldy plates and cutlery - horrible - I cried every day and didn't know what to do. I was very desperate - the cleaners and secretaries rejected the accusations but were willing to help. I took the problem into my own hands (with the help of my two flatmates) and contacted Linguadue Germany and the landlord personally. The German contact person was great, but unfortunately the landlord wasn't - despite photos and above all he said it was our fault because we weren't clean and didn't clean enough (which makes no sense as we had only moved in a week ago and we are all three very clean people). My dad then contacted him too - which worked a miracle (apparently it's better man-to-man - what a miracle). Landlord was always disrespectful to me in WhatsApp chat. Later it turned out that everyone knew about it and lied to us (the problem with cockroaches and the flat has been known for a year to everyone involved (secretaries + landlord!). It was absolutely disgraceful to rent out such a flat at all. After I was able to organise an insect exterminator through the landlord, the problem was solved and the dishwasher was also repaired/cleaned - it was finally over after an exhausting 4 weeks and I was finally able to enjoy my stay in Milan and concentrate on my language school instead of the cockroaches.

Positive aspects of school
Direct, friendly contact. We had a 1 to 2 course, we therefore had a good progress. Our teacher Marina was a patient teacher, it was fun to learn Italian with her.
Negative aspects
When courses were held in the neighbouring room, it could be heard.
