My two weekly preparatory sessions for the DALF C1 exam were very efficient as well as the two weekly private conversation classes, where I got the corrections to my errors from the teacher after each class.
Other comments
Pls note that the DALF C1 preparation program (5 weeks) mostly consists of standard C1 classes (3½h each morning), most of which is conversation and vocabulary. The grammar part is left to the student's independent use of the school's eLearning system, which makes the corrections automatically.

It's big enough that you don't end up in classes that are too hard or too easy. The lessons were thoughtful, the teacher was lively and engaging. We had real discussions in French.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The day trips are great - sign up for the less expensive ones in town early!
Other comments
They do an excellent job with host families. They give you a photo of the room and the person and describe their space and personality. I've had ones where it was clear it was just for the money. Everyone I talked to had a really positive experience - lots of good language practice and very nice places to stay.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The tuition is far from excellence. The reason I say this is that it is not uncommon to find students of different levels in the same class ... I guess it's one of the problems of private schools.
Other comments
For a Spaniard with an average salary, studying at lsf is expensive. On the other hand, even if you are in Montpellier, if you want to rent a studio through the school, they do not let you see it in advance, you just pay directly. Focused on business, but they work well thanks to the young students and the good atmosphere among teachers. It is a better option for those without money restrictions. If you decide to book lsf, I recommend you to find your own accommodation (eg. RBnb) and visit the apartment beforehand.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Take coffee in "Green Coffee" on Place Édouard Adam. Get out to the sea by free Hérault buses. Walk a lot. Really a lot. Go to bars on Friday nights. Don't forget to buy food on Friday - because on the weekends all shops and markets are closed. But there are different programs in museums on those days.

Not really.

I have only two complaints. One was that the building I was in the morning classes of the first week was under remodeling and a disaster area. I was happy this was dealt with the next week. And I also wish there was more power for the professers to move people in and out of class. For the 2 week, my morning class was outstanding. The afternoon class had some students that were not interested in learning. It was a shame.
