Positive aspects of school
Very good teachers and atmosphere in the school
Negative aspects
Some of the classrooms are rather small for the class size, which is why it gets too loud during conversations.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Make sure you visit OHLA Light on Fridays!
City/place
If you don't stray away from the busy streets, it's really pleasant - tower blocks, beaches, restaurants etc. everything is there. Plenty of places to visit in the area. However, I was told that it's better not to venture into some areas :)
You have to be careful on public transport - they tend to be cooled down to around 15 degrees, which can easily make a difference of 20 degrees to the outside temperature, so you can quickly catch a cold.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Great teachers; most students come from Spanish- and/or Portuguese-speaking countries with a specific accent that you have to get used to first
Accommodation
Very nice housekeeper; relatively far from the school (about 1 to 1.5 hours by car depending on traffic). The air conditioning was relatively loud; if you are a light sleeper (like me), you might be woken up when it starts.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
I have advice to new students: If you need to effectively improve your English then I recommend private lessons. There is big chance to speak and listen to English all the time.

I really appreciate your school. My 1 week of private lessons was very valuable for me.

The school should avoid to put too many students of the same nationality in the same room, because this hamper the learning of the English language

Book separate accommodation. I reserved a hostel in South Beach and it was cool, but you do not see your classmates as often as you see the friends from the hostel.
Other comments
I really enjoyed the experience, but the school fees for 3 weeks are a bit abusive (100 USD inscription fee + 50 USD materials).
