I only studied American English, so it was my first time in British education. The effectiveness of the education was much better. If I had more time, I felt that if I worked hard for about a year, I would guarantee the effect. I loved it

It rains a lot in London. The sun goes down early. It's 4 o'clock. Of course, it's winter. Prices were too high. Most of the meals were expensive and tasteless. Unless you go grocery shopping, you will encounter fish and chips and fast food. I tried other menus, but they were not good for being expensive and expensive. I couldn't shop freely because I couldn't do duty-free, and it was hard to get around a lot because the weather was bad. Subway is very crowded. There are many places without street lights

Very few bugs and ants kept coming out of the floor. If I stayed a long time, I would have taken action, but it was short, so I just killed it. I liked the simple meal prepared in the morning for the price. It was nice to have tea and coffee available all the time.

The best textbook, professional teachers. Versatile presentation of material, games, listening, writing, Grammar, communication. Much attention is paid to the safety and emotional state of students. Great price for this quality of education. Organization of training, social programme at its best. I felt progress after a month of training.

Debra was my teacher. She has a very artistic, positive, cute personality. Very friendly staff. Everybody will help you despite everything. You can change your teacher if you think he doesn’t suit you.

There’s a very good price for theater tickets on Wednesdays – 18 pounds instead of 30. It’s more comfortable to use a contactless bank card for paying in Underground instead of Oyster card. Don’t forget to tap the card twice (before and after trip).

For improving your language skills, it’s likely to take more than 6 weeks. It doesn’t matter your level. If your staying in London continues less than 6 week I’m not sure you’ll get a really good practice. Attention! Many Russians are there…

My accommodation was changed before I came to London (I was informed). I lived in the McMillan student village instead of in a family. I spent 15 minutes to reach the school. It’s ok. I’d have chosen a living with a family if they had given me a choice, despite long distance to the school.

School is spacious and facilities are great with many different classrooms. Comfortable chairs, huge screens and boards in each class. Excellent location of the school. Some teachers are really, really great (Jonny's class was fantastic) others not so much but you can't always like everyone.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
In my opinion, classes were quite slow (sometimes you appreciate it but for me it sometimes felt like we could be doing more stuff). I went to take lessons for IELTS but decided to do General English where I could take more advantage and learn more for my level (C1) than in the IELTS class where everyone is together despite different levels. This made classes quite tedious but useful to understand each part of the test and tips for each band score.
Lunchtime classes maybe should have a higher level.

The only cumbersome circumstance was that there is no cloakroom at the school, so the students have to carry all their coats and other stuff with them all day.

1. The city is GREAT! I liked it very much. It's gorgeous.
2. Location of the school is convenient. The Greenwich district is the most suitable location for it, I suppose.
3. Organization is excellent.
4. Facilities - good. I was provided with all the necessities.
5. Social activities - I cannot estimate this item, because didn't take part in them, unfortunately. I came with my family and after my classes we spent time together going sight seeing around London. Maybe, next time I'll attend some activities.
6. As for quality of teaching - I'm pleased with it absolutely. Especially with Laura.
7. Accommodation - I didn't book it from the school, because I lived in a hotel with my family.
8. Value for money - everything is OK, there's no any issues.
9. I'd put 5 points of 5.

The team is very nice and kind. The school is very clean and there is a big park, shops and a pleasant place near the school where you can eat and stay after or before the course.

I liked almost everything, except for language lessons.

I did not like the evening activities. The same program was offered in all English classes. There were 17 people in the class, 13 of them were Chinese who travelled as one group. They didn´t learn any English! There shouldn´t be groups which consist of students from the same travelling group and from the same country! It was very poor language learning!!!!!
Other comments
You can go there for a summer course only in case, if you want to relax and have fun in London with peers. If your aims is a language learning, choose a different place. At least this applies to summer courses for teenagers with the excursion program. All the students arrived as groups from different countries, and only 4 people travelled on their own. And they did not know in which group to place them: they went on an excursion with a group from Bulgary and learnt English with a group from China.

I lost some time in the class with the level B2, as according to one teacher, my level was below C1 based on the results of my speaking test. I asked to be transferred to a different group the same week.

The atmosphere in the school, teachers (especially Robert), friendly staff. The convenient location of the school, and infrastructure: close to shops, the bus stops and the DLR. Greenwich is a great area.

Do not forget to buy an Oyster card. Do not use a taxi on the way to / from the airport. In the city the metro works until late and buses are twenty-four-hour. To plan a route you can use the web-site http://www.tfl.gov.uk.

There was an issue with the textbooks. I did not know that they were included in the price, and at school no one told me about it until I had not asked for it. I wish I had had more homework to reinforce what I learnt at the class

School very nice and organized and located in a great area in my opinion. Possibly to be avoided in the middle of the summer when it fills up and the classes are full, and you cannot always access the most appropriate level.
