Positive aspects of school
The teachers are great - patient, clear, accommodating. The students are serious about learning, but not at the exigente of a little fun.
Negative aspects
Nothing
City/place
It’s a great beach resort city. I imagine in the warmer months it is fantastic
Quality of teaching / language progress
We were initially placed in a class too advanced for us, but that was quickly rectified.
Accommodation
It would be great to have a little interaction with the hosts. I feel they erred on the side of giving us our own space.

Positive aspects of school
Teachers were professional. Administration was good. Building well resourced with IT and generally felt the school was well organised and I’m looking forward to returning
Negative aspects
Design of classrooms a bit claustrophobic.
I think it must be difficult to form B2 groups - some students struggled to speak - (first two weeks). Others (second two weeks) spoke a lot and rather dominated the sessions at what seemed to be C level
There was no room or separate space to relax or meet people- the cafe and entrance were not comfortable and more like corridors.
City/place
Based around tourism and so there are many nationalities. Still clinging on to its Spanish identity. Lovely beaches and great castle. Very lively at night. Good transport links. Overall a great place to visit for a few weeks

Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The lessons and also the accommodation were super and well organized. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I also found it great that the materials were made available on Google Classroom.
Negative aspects
I didn't find the activities that great. Only a few participate and one event was canceled because of this. The excursion to Altea could have been done faster with a small bus and possibly also with Villahermosa (colorful houses, beautiful fishing village). In general, however, Alicante is not as interesting as, for example, Valencia.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
The Tapas Bar.
City/place
Nice for two weeks, then a bit boring. The harbour is nice, the beach section rather small. Between the beach/promenade and the sea is a main road. I found that annoying. Generally a lot of car traffic in the city. There are not so many sights to see. A few museums were still quite good.
Accommodation
Very clean, very nice host family, room with some street noise, rather simple kitchen with a working woman and her 15 year old son.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Its better to have basic knowledge of the language. I think that "0" level is much more difficult than more advanced.
