Additional information
Positive aspects of school
The school exactly met my goal of moving up to a conversational level with my Italian. It was well worth the time and money.
Negative aspects
There was nothing I disliked.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
None.
Other comments
Well organized and a good value for the money. They provided exactly what I asked for.
City/place
Was there for two weeks and never ran out of places to visit and things to see.
Quality of teaching / language progress
I was self-taught to the point class began, and had not formally studied conjugations. So those exercises left me behind a little. But I was there to practice speaking and listening and classes were filled with those opportunities.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
One-week option seems just a warm-up. Have a go for the longer one.
Other comments
Absolutely recommendable.
City/place
Certainly worth seeing, a mixture of the new and the ancient. Icecream shops too tempting though! Great for shopping if that's what one likes.
Quality of teaching / language progress
I just wish I'd gone for two-week instead of a one-week course - would've benefited a lot more.

Positive aspects of school
An authentic immersive experience where you learn because you learn Italian in the most organic, comfortable and natural way. Of course, the important thing is to participate as much as you can in trying to have a conversation.
Negative aspects
Nothing, we will have to be aware that it is very hot in Milan in summer. You have to go light enough because although the metro stop is close, you still have to walk in the sun, but the school is excellent :)

Positive aspects of school
The school is very well organized. The language test at the beginning of the first day of school was carried out individually after completing a scheme, and I was then integrated into the right group. The teacher made the lessons varied and conveyed the subject matter very well. I felt very comfortable and would visit the school again at any time. Many thanks for the very friendly contact and the great help of the "languagecourse.net" staff. They processed my last-minute request quickly and professionally. Overall, I had a very nice week in Milan.
City/place
I liked the city very much. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to visit the surrounding area.
Accommodation
The 2 ladies who rent the room were very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, due to my poor knowledge of Italian, I was unable to talk to them very much. The room was of a simple standard. However, I had my own bathroom. IMPORTANT: In Italy, the heating is not turned on in many houses from mid-April to mid-October. That is why it can be a bit chilly in apartments and rooms in the evenings.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
At first I was afraid to pay the full amount to the site, and broke the payment into two parts: part for school and for living separately in cash, but now I will not be afraid :)
City/place
This is my third time in Milan. In general, I like the city :)
Quality of teaching / language progress
I did not see the library at school, but I believe that somewhere it really is. They taught well, I was assigned to group B2, which a week later very quickly switched to C1, it was hard, but I did it. This spurred me on to a more serious approach to grammar. Thank! Kind girls at the reception issued a printout with the rules for grammar C1 - useful. Organization: I liked the fact that the school quickly contacts the owner of the apartment, if something is wrong, they care about the students, this is a big plus!
Accommodation
So, well, first things first: I was placed in the attic room, under the roof. 1. The owners of the room do not prepare much for the arrival of the student: the room was in order, but upon arrival it was very cold, and they had not previously heated it during the night, as a result: it was unbearably cold to sleep, even in clothes. The situation improved in 2-3 days, after the school called them, but not for long. When I again said that it was cold at night, I was given the answer that il sindaco asked to turn off the battery from 10 pm until the morning, and an alternative blanket was offered as an alternative. Interestingly, the Internet also OH "asks" to turn it off at night or are they deceiving me? Partially had to learn from their mobile Internet. Thank God he was to me. If, according to them, the battery should not work at night, then why was it often icy during the day and my hands even froze in the room? For me, cold is NOT a comfortable living condition. 2. The shower is strictly 10 minutes and then, other students can “pick up” hot water, as I was told, I had to negotiate with them. (Going down from the attic and knocking on everyone's door specifying their shower time for today? Seriously?). Here, probably, the problem is not specifically of this family, but in the lifestyle of some in Europe. For the future I will look for another accommodation option. I'm not used to saving on my comfort. I do not want to wake up from the cold and time for taking a shower. 3. Wi-Fi worked with great interruptions, and at night they completely turned it off. What for? Where is the rule for using Wi-Fi strictly from 9: 00-18: 00? Blind savings? I can’t give ratings for meals - I booked WITHOUT.

Don’t miss the chance to meet students from outside your class by going along to some of the organised events and trips. I met some great people from all over the world by doing this.
Other comments
The school had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere but was also organised at the same time. All the teachers and staff that I met were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely (and will most likely!) book another course at Scuola Leonardo Milano. Grazie Mille

Other comments
The worst language school I have been to in Italy. The organisation was rubbish. I arrived at the designated time to do my level test, which took an hour out of my 3 hours of classes (that’s 4 lessons, each 45 minute lesson called ‘an hour’, by the way, although this was expected and usual for large cities...) only for the enrolment officer to decide that it was all unnecessary because in April I had been to the sister school in Florence. Waste of time. The maximum class size was 14 (which is already too large) and our group had 16 enrolled, apparently okay because not everyone came every day. Unacceptable. The facilities are not comfortable. There are no desks, instead those ‘chair/desks’ that you find in lecture theatres sometimes in universities. They are not well adapted to spending long periods writing, which unfortunately we did. I enrolled on the ‘Dolce Vita’ course so that I would have the opportunity to meet other mature students (I know that there are fewer at my level of Italian, as few persist to B2, let alone beyond). This course is a specific fortnight 3 or 4 times a year. There was a test on the first Thursday, a test of the end of the 6 week module that long term students had been studying! Another waste of time. But, worse, the test was marked in class, one by one with the student sitting next to the teacher! So we not only lost most of Thursday to the test, we also lost an hour on Friday! Why organise a fortnight of activities for people who are most likely studying for pleasure to coincide with a test week? Poor planning. Conclusion: If you are studying for pleasure or enrolling for a short time (less than a month), DON’T enrol in this school.

The quality of the teachers is uneven. However, the programs are too focused on grammar and writing and not enough on speaking.

After two weeks on chairs with fold-out tables I dealt with some back pain. I am 23 and have no other back problems. ;) It was not the end of the world, but after two weeks I really looked forward to tables and sitting straight again.
