Special thanks to Nurcan who was a warm teacher and taught us a lot in a very patient way.

Our teacher Nurcan is very friendly, accommodating and competent.

The location of the school was so badly described in advance that we had to spend hours looking for it. The school also seemed like a temporary solution. There were no classrooms of its own. Classes were held in the rooms of an advertising agency. Moreover, I only received 25 of the 45 hours announced in the voucher. That means there is a deficit of 20 hours!

This city is very impressive! It is buzzing day and night. The cleanliness is as good as I have ever experienced in any big city. You can experience whatever your heart desires. The various services are almost without exception impressively good and of great creativity. The cuisine is also very appealing.

The voucher said 20 hours of lessons for the first week, I only received 15. In the second week it said 25 hours of lessons, I only received 10 hours. That means I now have a deficit of 20 hours.

The teacher, Mrs. Nurcan, is very competent and experienced, she is also involved beyond the classroom and enjoys showing the students around her city. She is always available for the students and easy to talk to. For my individual lessons, I was even able to choose locations to study, depending on the weather, even in the great outdoors (e.g. Emirgan Park during the tulip blossom season) or in a patisserie over a coffee. I looked forward to the varied lessons every day and learned a lot in the well-structured and prepared lessons. A really worthwhile learning stay that I will definitely repeat next year. Many thanks also for the perfect pre-organization by the agency.

The school will move to new premises, but has not yet found yet a new place. Classes are currently being held in a makeshift room next to an office. They are doing their best to make the lessons as pleasant as possible (tea and coffee).

Learning by doing - not only studying, but also exploring Istanbul and speaking while doing so. People are very friendly and even supportive of efforts to communicate with them.

Great, exhausting, exciting, colourful - Istanbul is something you have to walk around or use public transport. Taksim is the area to go for shopping, eating out, amusement, contemporary witnesses can be found everywhere in the city. Multicultural and open-minded.

Communication course for advanced learners. Very pleasant with desired personal contribution (e.g. vocabulary is discussed according to learner's notes), no interruption during communication, later revision and repetition of learned content.
