Very intensive course. I would suggest you to live closer to the school if you are interested in getting a certificate.

Too intense to relax. I have homework everyday and I also want to go out to visit Berlin so that my average sleeping hours are 5-6 hours.

Very good teachers. They could have safely organised activities but they didn't.

In Germany, you will not find pills to sleep. So take some with you. On the upper floor, there were some hooligans. The Japanese student in the room next to mine lost his patience and requested a change. I stayed the whole month and wanted to kill myself.

Tareq is an excellent teacher. It was worth going through hell in the accommodation just for Tareq's classes. Bring pills to sleep if you stay on campus. Let them know if you don't like the accommodation and ask for a change or book an airbnb. Classes are excellent. I think there is not a better teacher in Berlin. He teaches A2 German. There were no activities due to covid. They should rebuild the school but perform 3 exorcisms at least first.

Verena my teacher was very good indeed. Some of the information was out of date about accommodation. The office staff could have been more helpful. There weren't any afternoon activities because of Covid. I was disappointed they weren't on and wasn't aware of this before I went.

I studied at this school in November 2019 at A1.2. I liked the teacher Tareg so much that I promised to come back in February to do the level B1. I kept my promise) I studied at B1.1 from February 10, 2020 to March 7, 2020. The school is super! I will come back there again! It is a pity that the work does not allow me to come for a couple of months(

I was accommodated in a barn with cockroaches at the very beginning, and incredible things happened in the school itself. Some teachers missed school days completely, there were constant delays, the examiner managed to be late for the exam for two whole hours and the lost hours were not compensated. Teachers were from other countries (far from native Germans) with a terrible accent! Disgusting organization!

The first day I was accommodated in terrifying conditions! It was some kind of nightmare! Then I was relocated many times. There was dirt everywhere! And there were no people responsible for this mess.

Overall, I think its a good school but not the best. For the money, location and easy accommodation (since it's very difficult to find a place to live in Berlin and expensive at the moment), it was good!

I was absolutely in love with the city. There is always so much to do related to culture, music and art! The nightlife was amazing as well. They were best the nights of my life. If you are looking for a place with cultural background but also fun activities, Berlin is the place!

I really liked the school overall, although the lessons could be a little cheaper. However, it is definitely worth it! My teacher Olga was absolutely lovely. Although I had other teachers occasionally, Olga was by far the best! I heard some other students that didn't quite like their teachers but I have 0 complaints. She was very dynamic and would do all types of different and fun exercises. I evolved a lot and had so much fun learning!
Accommodation
The accommodation was not terrible but not incredible either. For the price, a shared bedroom and its overall conditions is definitely overpriced. The fridges were dirty and I think they should be cleaned by the cleaners once in a while (they would clean everything except the fridges). The bed sheets were not impeccable although that is something to expect from a dormitory. The furniture was used but in good conditions. The main issues were the broken things like the showers and washing/drying machines that they would take a long time do repair on/replace. There were 2 bathrooms and we would have to use the one on the 5th floor because the other one was broken. They only fixed it when the one on the 5th broke as well, so for 3 days everyone had to shower at the boys bathroom where only half of the showers had hot water! The bathroom on the 4th floor was broken for at least 1 month. They had plenty of time to fix it. Other than that, the room was good, the view was awesome and the location perfect! I would recommend it if you need to save some money and want a good location in Berlin.

I lived at Siegfriedstrasse. Great place, but it takes about 45 minutes to get to the school (walk to the metro + metro + walk from the metro). There is a cheap Netto store nearby.
There was no tea cup in the apartment - I had to buy one. And a very dim light in the room for studying in the evening.

Everything is good. Teachers, how they teach, organize etc.. but some teachers have difficulties to organize the teaching because of students that aren't on time. Of course, they don’t understand anything. Teachers have to teach the same things again. Some students don’t listen, or text friends or look at Facebook. Something.

I considered it a place with bad security.
And I was living in school accommodation, sometimes the shower was cold, so I caught a cold and wasted 2 weeks. I couldn’t concentrate well in the class for 1 week.

The building at Bernburgerstraße is disgusting. A messy dining room with refrigerators full of moldy expired food, shabby kitchen, a dirty shower room. Photos from the web-site do not coincide at all with what I saw. If I had known that it was such a horror, I would never have chosen this building. The administration doesn't care, I went to almost every one and tried to change something, but it was useless.

Berlin is a wonderful city full of interesting things to do. If you love culture, politics and history-- Berlin is definitely the place to explore. It is super safe and the locals are very friendly :)

The school is well located at the heart of Berlin. All teachers I had were excellent and really passionate about teaching. I did enjoy the evening activities and got to make really good friends at the school. The classrooms & facilities are a bit basic, but enough to learn german.
Accommodation
The accomodation was extremely dissapointing. Upon my first sleep, i woke up with bites over my body. I though it was moskito bites at first, but soon spoted bed bugs and informed the school. They sent me back to the room with a leafleft and the promise that someone will come the following day to deal with it. I assumed a professional exterminator would have been called, but that wasn't the case. The biting continued after their janitator treated the bedroom and since the school did not offer alternatives, i had to vacate the room and find alternative accomodation elsewhere. Also, the room was filthy, extremely hot and the internet did never work. Overeall i would not recommend the accomodation, however some of my friends did have a positive experience here. In the end I was given a full refund for the accommodation, although it did hardly cover the extra costs I incurred.

It was my second time here and I really enjoyed it. However, sometimes, there were a lot of students in the class. The teacher had no opportunity to communicate with every student separately.

I just can't recommend it due to the accommodations because the rooms were really small and there was a shared bathroom and a kitchen for all students. It's really inconvenient. But I should note, that it was the best value for money.

Choose campus accommodation or a hostel nearby, because it's hard to spend 30 minutes to get to the school each morning. Moreover, you can always make new friends at the campus.

The school was very good. The location is very good, only 5 minutes to the metro and less than 10-15 to the main attractions of the city.
The school facilities are good, the teachers too, all lessons are in German. In the morning class I was the only one who spoke Russian, which was a great language practice for me.
I lived in a residence which is located in the school´s building, it is very convenient, there is no need to waste time on the road in the morning.

I personally wouldn’t recommend, especially because of the price and the overall experience. My first teacher Monika was a really good teacher and I know other teachers in the school are also really good. Not the best place to meet people from around the world because of the lack of interest of the school, the housing is not good.

Too expensive for a low-average language school, the book had no connection with the classes nor of to today’s universe, using stereotypes for examples, my teacher was frequently late, unprofessional about relationships with students and had several problems with being impatient and disrespectful.
The school didn’t engage the students to take part in outdoors activities nor to integrate them with other classes. Apartment in bad conditions, dirty, impolite house master, hostile environment.
The school doesn’t have the best levelling system with newcomers.
The office was always polite and helpful.
The school should have more field trips/outdoors activities, more than one teacher per each class, better cleaning in the apartments, up-to-date books and patient teachers.
Silvia wasn’t a good teacher, despite her teaching, she gave hard criticism that many times were not displayed in a respectful way, constant out of place “jokes”, no sense of boundaries with the students, couldn’t accept criticism and wasn’t reliable (always moody).

Super hostile area, really far from the school, always problems with the public transport system, impolite house master, constant noise around the area.
On my first day, the apartment wasn’t clean, I had a hard time to get in touch with the guy who were supposed to help me, the freezer wasn’t clean, the furniture was dusty.

The dormitories are not very hygienic and no rooms and common areas are not cleaned very often. The day of enrollment should be entered suddenly and should be open to any question at any moment as the course starts from the middle. The dormitories in the campus building show that the showers are not very good, are not kept clean and two showers are broken, the other two give hot water after a very long time.
