Additional information
Positive aspects of school
- The focus is exclusively on oral tuition
Negative aspects
- No introduction/ welcome/ information on arrival
- No overview/ concept of what will be taught
- Homework is sent via WhatsApp and should then be completed on the smartphone
- You have to buy books for $60, which are then hardly used
- very little is written and explained on the blackboard. YouTube videos are shown instead
- You don't have time to take notes. Very little grammar is taught
- the focus is exclusively on oral teaching. No attention is paid to the fact that there are also other types of learners
- the teacher seems to decide spontaneously what he wants to cover during the day
- A lot of material is covered. The focus is more on quantity than quality. hardly any vocabulary is taught, it is simply assumed that everything is known
- There is hardly any work with texts either
- the lessons mainly consist of questions that the students have to answer in turn
Other comments
Teachers and administration were friendly but not really helpful. Apparently they don't know how to do it better. They should talk to other schools.
City/place
Nice modern city, good climate. There is everything you need.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Chaotic organisation. It's better to split the lessons up: grammar and vocabulary exercises in the morning. Conversation in the afternoon. Instead of group conversation in the morning and individual conversation at lunchtime.

My teacher was very good, always prepared and energetic during our classes. She was perfect for an adult learner at my level.

Positive aspects of school
Very committed good teacher
Other comments
Unfortunately, this school apparently focuses on teaching English. For students of Spanish classes, it would be great if more activities were offered outside of class ... Even in the evening so that students with private classes can also see something of the city.
Quality of teaching / language progress
The "Spanish" classrooms are all windowless. There is no printer, the secretary had to ask if I could send something to print it out.
Accommodation
I had a room, which was moldy and the room door could not be closed, let alone locked. Although I pointed out that I shouldn't consume extra fat, everything has been fortified with "healthy" olive oil.

Other comments
In any case, ask again directly whether the booked course is also offered in this way. Unfortunately, I was packed into an already running class unit. The teachers were very eager to include me well and there were also targeted individual lessons, but nevertheless it was not the perfect condition to learn the language well according to the circumstances.
