It's not expensive, it's rip off

This was the 3rd language school that I attended in the last 2 years. Before that, I was in Malta and Los Angeles. I liked the school in Hawaii best because the location of the school, the teachers (it is worth mentioning here how well the teachers convey the material), and the excursions were unique. The only downside to Hawaii is it is very very expensive in Hawaii ...

My accommodation was great. I stayed in an 8-person female dorm room in Waikiki Beachside Hostel. At first I thought that would be crowded but later I was happy to choose that. Hostel was great and clean, you have a kitchen and bathroom in the room and you share it with at most 7 other people. It was a great opportunity to meet more people and practice English. And also it was a great walk by the beach from hostel to the school everyday. I saw lots of rainbows :)

Do not stay only on Oahu. Definitely travel to Maui and Kauai. It's worth to see it and every island offers a lot!

The Ohia Student House is pretty bad. It is dirty and too expensive for what you get. But a plus point is the location of the hostel. The beach and the school are max. 5 minutes away.

In part, poor structure of the classes, in the higher levels (core600) over 70% of the students were German-speaking which was tedious.

If you like to party and be within 5 minutes of the academy, Hokele suites is the best hotel. A bit expensive but you really appreciate it, forget about the families.

Practically everything. The teachers were very prepared, excellent teaching methods and overall the internal organization unquestionably perfect for my taste. A little bit less than the organization for newcomers, because they were introduced in classes already formed (which is fine), but coming during the week of the final examination of the Term (so called) it's not appropriate because you find yourself having to take an examination for which you are not ready and then it happened to me that the following week was a little bit more relaxed.

It's better to ask when the Term will start and end , and if you begin after that it has been started it's ok, but it's better you don't start during its last week ... it's really much better the following one.

Apart from that I ave nothing to say, it was a wonderful experience, I thank those who allowed it and I will carry it forever in my heart. I met a lot of great people and if I had to return to Honolulu I will surely return even in that school.
