They paired me with another participant who was a little above my level and that was great.

Positive aspects of school
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pacing of the classes were catered to my specific needs and it attracted other fun and like-minded students!
City/place
I enjoyed getting to know Quito! After dark, things kind of shut down and it feels much less safe, but I didn’t actually have any problems.
Accommodation
The accommodations were near perfect. Had a private space and breakfast provided every morning before class. Valeria is the sweetest and most accommodating host one could ask for. Highly recommend!

very nice atmosphere, coffee breaks with rolls a nice touch. Teacher, Marie Elizabeth, excellent. She always managed to explain anything in Spanish so we understood. Geovanny did really good 2 hour private conversation lessons walking through the city and in the historical center. Everyone went all out to help. Great experience. Will do it again, though probably in a different city (they have one in Otavalo and the Galapagos).
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
I liked 2 hours of private conversation time in addition to class time
Other comments
Really a nice place and a very good idea before travel. They have lots of learning/travel options as well.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
I did 1 week in Quito and the traveling classroom. I would definitely recommend the traveling classroom but be warned - you don't always stay at the nicest place in town (which suprised me based on its price)
Other comments
Other things included: unlimited internet at nearby internet cafe, 3 salsa lessons/week & gym access. There are also tons of trip organizers in Quito (not affiliated with the school) for cheap/fun weekend getaways. Biking Dutchman was amazing
