raincoat and umbrella!! I recommends to bring a translator machine. It´s very useful!!
Other comments
I wrote this suggestion in my questionnaire at the end of my course, but I repeat it here: in my opinion, it would be necessary to cover more grammar in classes. And it´s very ridiculous the prohibition to photocopy the books only to force students to buy books in the school.

The best thing it's the pedagogy. If you ask something to your teacher, he manages to respond to your request. Sometimes he can create a class only for your request ! Also, Edinburgh is a very handsome city !!
Other comments
Regent is a good experience if you want to meet people from other countries. At Edinburgh I met more Polish, Brazilian, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Japanese than Scottish people !! And sometimes, you speak more a kind of "Spanglish" than English, but it's funny !
