Positive aspects of school
Excellent teacher - Martina. When I arrived at the school, the staff was very friendly and welcoming towards me.
Negative aspects
Based on my goals, there are no negative aspects.
City/place
Palermo lived up to my expectations, as a city with a lot of history, culture, tourist attractions, and a pleasant place to live.
Accommodation
My host, Adriana, is very kind and helpful. I felt very welcome.

The teacher Lala was very good
Negative aspects
There was no placement test. There was no book, only often poor photocopies. There were no activities offered either. The staff (except the teacher) did not seem very competent. There were no desks, only chairs with folding tables, but we had to repair them ourselves first, as most of them were defective.
Other comments
On Fridays, a film is shown or an activity is offered, which means you only have 4 days of lessons. That's a lot of money.

Offers many possibilities for free time activities. However, also very dirty, especially a lot of dog excrement.

The group was not on the same level.
Accommodation
Adriana is a super hostess, everything totally relaxed. There is a very nice roof terrace. My room was a bit small and noisy, but ok.

-Very competent and friendly teachers
Negative aspects
-Beginner's class was not really suitable for complete beginners, as you can end up in class with people who have already been in the beginner's class for 2-3 weeks and thus have no possibility to learn with a logical structure
-chairs with wobbly and crooked folding tables, bare classroom
-Working with photocopies from an Italian book, some of which are difficult to read
-On the last day, a film with Italian subtitles, where beginners do not really have a chance to understand everything.

I had 2 teachers, one was good, the other didn't bother and ended the lesson 15 minutes early

Tourists are often " tricked ". The beach - even Mondelo - is not really beautiful.

Teachers are capable but not interested in the students or seem bought into the ethics of the school
Negative aspects
Constant interruptions, not enough pens, not enough ink in the photocopier (and not fixed in 3 months) dropped down desk on the chairs do not stay vertical. Rude personnel

Lots of distractions during the A1 and A2 lessons combined. Not able to take a language test. Registration was unknown on arrival. Excursion would be given outside of 15 hours. Now it went down from class time: 1 full morning. No movies or other activities offered.

Palermo is a beautiful vibrant city full of interesting things to do. It is dirty and streets are full of garbage - but it is also a city with great weather, super friendly people, great food and tons of interesting things to see and do especially if you are an art lover. The city is SAFE and inhabitants are friendly and super helpful.
Quality of teaching / language progress
The school is small and well located. There are no organized activities (I was not informed of any! so it could be my bad), and the facilities are basic. Table, desk, books. Teachers are absolutely perfect. Competent, smart, intelligent, passionate and patient.
