Response from school
Dear Gabriella and mother, I hope you're well. Addressing your recent feedback on your stay at our Dénia school: Window in your room: We apologize if the window's placement wasn't ideal; it was the only option available during your reservation, and we provided accurate information. Activities during your Spanish course: The selected program didn't include extra activities with an additional cost. We communicated this during the reservation for informed decisions. Extreme heat: We understand the challenge, but weather conditions are beyond our control. While we sympathize, influencing the climate isn't within our responsibility. Factors like weather are beyond our influence. Your comments will be considered for future improvements. TLCdénia

Positive aspects of school
Everyone was helpful and friendly. The teachers were fantastic.
Negative aspects
I would have liked more activities and a What's App student group, to get to know other students, but I understand this was during covid and there were fewer students.
Other comments
I loved the school, the teaching and the staff. I would have much preferred to do the Beginner's course full-time.
I had two English friends in the UK who didn't come to Denia with me because they could only get 2 weeks off work in the UK and didn't think 3 hours in the morning was enough, so they went to Malaga and did a full-time course instead. I went to Denia because I was told the average age was 60 and being 63 I liked that.
City/place
A lovely city. I would like to return to the language school in Denia.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Great course but I didn't know anyone so wandered around most of the time on my own. I would have preferred to have studied full-time for two reasons: one, so I don't have to stay longer paying more for accommodation (I could do the whole month course in 2 weeks if it was full-time) and because I didn't know other students I was lonely and would have enjoyed a busy day at school.

Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Very nice to have breakfast first thing in the morning at the bar nearby (on the little square, next to the Donuts tent) and to have lunch in one of the two bars in the Market Hall!
