The General Intensive French Course A is aimed at all students from all levels who wish to improve their language skills in General French covering everyday topics and situations.
The emphasis will be on improving confidence in speaking and listening in French in a range of everyday situations. Subjects covered in class include: topical vocabulary and language, study of grammatical structures, pronunciation and listening skills, social skills, cultural awareness, reading and writing skills, conversational French.

This is why “sorties pédagogiques” (“Walking in Paris” lessons) are regularly organised so that students are placed in an authentic environment, enabling them to practice what they have learnt in the classroom whilst exploring Paris and its culture, as well as getting a better understanding of living in Paris.

In this 15-hour-per-week course you will study the four main areas of language development: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The focus of the classes will be giving you the tools to feel more prepared and confident when it comes to managing situations in French, which will be adjusted to your ability level to make sure your classes are always stimulating and engaging.

There will be plenty of time given to developing cultural awareness and social skills, to combine with your French language development.

The semi-intensive morning course is not available during the summer months of July and August. Students can follow the afternoon course instead.
This morning semi-intensive French course at ACCORD French language school focuses on developing the four communication skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. This programme is ideal for students who need to focus on grammar and written French as they include an intensive morning general French course, plus 3-afternoon classes dedicated to grammar and writing.

The French Grammar and Writing Course includes the morning General French Course ‘A’ and three-afternoon workshops dedicated to Grammar and Written French.

Morning course:
The morning course (course A) is aimed at all students from all levels who wish to improve their language skills in General French covering everyday topics and situations. Teachers focus on improving students’ French oral communication during the morning lessons.

Three-afternoon workshops dedicated to French Grammar and Writing:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 14:00 to 17:00.

These classes take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - and are purely focused on helping students develop their French grammar understanding and their writing skills. No matter what level you currently have these skills at, Accord will have the right level group for you.

As an added bonus, you’ll speak in French constantly with your classmates, since the students at this academy are diverse and from a wide range of nationalities - meaning that the common language in the classroom ends up being French.

Every teaching hour is equivalent to 60 minutes, which is more time than many schools offer per tuition hour. Class sizes are set to a maximum of 14 participants, so you will be able to work together effectively with your classmates while using French, and also be able to consult your teacher whenever necessary.


During three afternoons per week, the ACCORD French Grammar and Writing lessons encourage students to improve their understanding of French grammar and their writing skills.
These French Grammar and Writing lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.

In the ACCORD Intensive French Course B, students develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and over one afternoon workshop focus on specific topics. This Intensive French Course encourages students to improve their French language skills through the use of authentic material and updated resources.

Morning course:

Afternoon lessons (from 14:00 to 17:00)
You can select one of the 3 workshops available: Oral Communication / French Culture and Civilisation (Monday and Friday), Writing and Grammar (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

The Intensive French Course C includes the morning General French language Course A and two afternoon workshops of your choice.
This ACCORD Intensive French language course allows our students to focus on specific skills and subjects. For example, if you need to boost your confidence join the two ‘Oral Communication’ workshops.

Timetable: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 13:00 and two afternoons, 14:00 to 17:00

The afternoon course is open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.

The two afternoon classes dedicated to French Culture and Civilisation are Mondays and Fridays. These ACCORD Paris French Culture and Civilisation lessons introduce students from all over the world to the French Culture and Civilisation.

Timetable: Monday and Friday, from 14:00 to 17:00
Two afternoon workshops dedicated to the French Culture and Civilisation. Students work on specific topics such as: the Eiffel Tower, the Passages couverts, Montmartre, the Quartier du Marais, the Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cité, as well as French cinema, literature, French singers, etc.
For some topics, the teachers offer the class to dedicate part of the lesson to a visit related to the topic studied in class, for example the Champs de Mars nearby the Eiffel Tower and the ACCORD Language School, the Trocadéro area (opposite the Eiffel Tower) Passage des Panoramas, Passage Jouffroy, Passage Verdeau, Passage des Princes, Passage du Caire (the oldest Parisian Passage).

Morning Intensive French Course A plus French Culture and Civilisation lessons on Monday and Friday afternoons.

This programme is also a great option for 50+ students.

The French Culture and Civilisation Course includes the morning General French Course ‘A’ and two afternoon classes dedicated to Oral French Language and Culture . The ACCORD Paris French Culture & Civilisation Course allows students to focus on specific skills and subjects.

The mini-group Business French lessons are customised to the students’ specific needs.

French Business Language Lessons: The Business French lessons in mini-group at ACCORD Paris are available all year round.

Perfect for busy professional people: only 4 afternoons per week to make a difference to your working life in French.

Quality guarantee: the course will go ahead even if you are the only person of your level in the Business French lessons. You will get the Business French lessons you booked (12 hours per week) without any additional fee to pay even if you are on your own.

General French classes in the morning plus 3 afternoon classes per week.

The Intensive French Course D includes the morning Intensive French Course A and three afternoon workshops of your choice. This Intensive French course allows students to focus on specific skills and subjects, and especially on written French if students select the 3 afternoon classes dedicated to Writing & Grammar.

As the Intensive French Course D includes 3 afternoon classes, students can choose to enrol for all 3 classes of the ‘Writing and Grammar’ workshops (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) OR they can mix and match from the three afternoon workshops: ‘Writing and Grammar’, ‘Oral Communication’/‘French Culture and Civilisation’ (Monday and Friday).

Intensive General French classes in the morning, plus 5-afternoon workshop classes (from 14:15 to 17:15) then 5 coaching/guided study sessions at the end of each day, from 17:30 to 18:30.

The Super Intensive French Course E includes the morning General French Course A and five topical afternoon lessons (from 14:00 to 17:00).

Timetable: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00, five afternoons from 14:00 to 17.00.
