How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school

Location: One great advantage that students studying at Alpha Aktiv have is living in the scenic city of Heidelberg. The school is adjacent to the Neckar river, on the outskirts of the main city hub. It is just a short 25 minute walk from the school to what is considered the city centre. As a university city, Heidelberg has an academic reputation of providing a vibrant student life.

Getting Around: Heidelberg is a manageable city to navigate, with a well-connected public transportation system. Regular bus and tram routes run close to the school, so students can come and go easily. The central Heidelberg train station known as Heilbronn Main Station is less than 20 minutes by foot from Alpha Aktiv, and this line stretches through various other cities in Germany.

Course selection: The school has a wide range of courses from intensive long-term programmes to private one-to-one classes. It also offers exam preparation assistance for exam certificates required by German universities. Those with a busy and inflexible schedule can choose the short intensive courses, evening or summer programmes to help improve their fluency quickly. In addition to general German, the school has programmes dedicated to teaching German for medical practitioners, nurses and business executives. Moreover, Alpha Aktiv also offers courses in many different languages, including English, Spanish, French, Russian and Chinese.

Additional information: The school has an intercultural competence training programme that focuses on helping students adjust to German work culture, and helps them become adept in other soft skills.

Location, I could also try different lessons before deciding which I will attend in long-term
Insider tips about what future students should not miss The accommodation (single room with shared toilet and bathroom at a "dormitory") was a bit crappy - I received a moldy bed sheet and the table was poor quality. Other than that I had everything I needed. There was no WiFi connection in my room (only in the building).

Quality of teaching / language progress: Everything is not good other than some of the teachers and some of the admins who are helpful and nice. It's mainly based on your teacher. If you get a good teacher then you are lucky and your money is worth a lot. If not, then it's a complete waste of money as the school isn't really trying to help anyone other than taking money at every chance. They don't cover up for their failures like when they lack teachers or having many students (20+) where no one can really learn and the teacher can't teach anymore. Also, they don't have any other facilities other than a computer lab for Test DAF that you can use. No library/kitchen or anything else mentioned here. They always don't have toilet paper in the toilets actually. Some teachers have to bring their own laptops as the school doesn't offer many advanced ways of teaching.

Other comments Accomodation was just OK (student housing, shared appartement). The room was fine but the house looked like no one cared about it. We had ants in the house and we told the school a few times but they didn't do anything, so we had to buy bug spray ourselves. It was really disgusting to have ants invasion in the house. The kitchen was also really dirty and the wifi didn't function well. I think they could really improve students' satisfaction if they put more effort in maintaining the accomodation. Also, they should arrange someone from the school to give the keys to arriving students, not another student who has to stay at home and wait for -sometimes- hours (transport delays).
