Location: ATC Language Schools Bray is located in the Irish coastal town of Bray. Afternoon lessons take place on Tuesday and Thursday.
Course takes place Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 13:30, afternoon classes are Tuesday and Thursday, 14:15 - 17:15.
Students joining ATC’s General English language course will learn English in an international class with students from around the world. The course is designed to focus on communication and improve the student's understanding of the four key skills of the English language focusing on communication; listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as developing grammar and vocabulary skills. Students can begin each Monday through the year on a continuous enrolment system.
All levels of English from Elementary to Advanced are offered throughout the year. Students can choose to study for a minimum of 1 week.
ATC’s General English course syllabus is 20 hours per week, with full 60 minute lessons. By the end of the course students will see an overall improvement in their level of English and improved confidence in their language ability.
The Intensive English course includes 20 hours of General English as well as an additional 6 hours in the afternoons, these extra lessons focus on the structure and fluency of conversation.

ATC’s Cambridge exam preparation course for the B2 First exam is 9 or 12 weeks long. The timetable includes 20 hours of lessons per week. The full course will develop the skills students will use during the exam, enhance the students’ comprehension and fluency of using English language and allow them to practice the exam techniques required.
Each Cambridge B2 First exam preparation course is planned to align with an exam offered locally, ATC can arrange the exam additionally to the course.

Students can choose to prepare for the IELTS exam with ATC Language Schools. The IELTS exam is an internationally recognised English language exam that is accepted by universities and employers worldwide, for study and work. The exam tests students on speaking & listening, and reading & writing.
ATC’s IELTS exam preparation course in full is an 8-week course, the timetable is the same as ATC’s General English course and students can transfer between them following discussion with their teacher.
The full 8 week IELTS preparation course looks at each section of the exam separately. Students will practice exam techniques each week based on what has been covered.
ATC can arrange for students to take the exam locally, it is not included in the course.
ATC Language Schools offer preparation for the Academic IELTS exam, the General IELTS exam preparation can be offered separately in discussion with ATC.
