Flamenco actually originates from Andalusia and Granada embodies the raw soul of flamenco music. There is no better way to experience this musical art form than to actively participate in a flamenco guitar course in Granada, in the heart of Andalusia. Guitar lessons are private and can be adapted to your level.
You will have private lessons with one of the best flamenco guitar teachers in Granada. Although it is better if you already know some of the basics of playing guitar, it is possible to start these classes without any knowledge of a guitar. If you have, you can bring your own guitar. If not, you can rent one at the school for the duration of your course, so you can continue your practice outside the classes.
The flamenco guitar programme can be combined with any Spanish course. The guitar classes are private, so they can be adapted to suit the times of your Spanish course.

With all the shared apartments you experience life in a local city neighbourhood. Apartments are always a comfortable distance from the school and are well situated for exploring the rest of the city. Sharing with other language students and sometimes with locals means you can converse in Spanish outside the classroom.
This accommodation option provides complete independence. The kitchen, bathroom and living area are shared, while you have the privacy of your own bedroom. These apartments also offer a good value place to stay while being immersed in the Spanish or Latin American way of life. This is a great option for those looking for the opportunity to live with a variety of people from very different cultures and backgrounds. While the shared apartments have a regular cleaning service of the common areas, students are expected to take care of the day-to-day cleaning, such as washing the dishes, taking out the rubbish, etc.
These fully equipped apartments are generally shared with an average of 2 to 5 locals and/or language school students (varies per location). You will have your own room which includes all of the standard necessities: single or double bed, wardrobe, table and chair, etc. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are shared with your housemates.

Staying with a host family is the complete cultural experience. You will gain a privileged view of local daily life and come to understand the nuances of local culture. This is a very authentic experience as you dine with your host family and have opportunity to join in their daily home routine.
Host family accommodation also maximises your opportunity to practice Spanish. Hosts will encourage you to speak and make you feel confident in using the language. All the families are carefully selected and vetted, ensuring that you have both a comfortable and engaging local stay.
By having a private room and keys, students enjoy a homestay experience yet still have the comforts of independence. Each student must adhere to the rules and customs of their Spanish or Latin American family. Please note that a host family is not always the typical family of two parents with children. For example, it can also consist of a divorced woman (with or without children) or a retired couple. Half board: includes breakfast and dinner Full board: includes breakfast, (packed) lunch and dinner.
