Location: Oxford Spires Junior Centre Oxford is located in the town of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. The school is housed in the Cheltenham Ladies' College, a college with an esteemed reputation for its pioneering approach to education for over 160 years. The traditional boarding school is centrally located in Cheltenham and is within walking distance of several shops, attractions, supermarkets and links to public transport.
Course selection: In addition to the 15 hours of tuition included in the General English Summer programme, the Spires+ programme also provides an additional, optional and supplementary 6 hours of tuition on several subjects, with specific teachers and coaches. Such optional subjects on the Spires+ programme include maths, chemistry, dance, horse riding, history, active adventures, STEAM, English literature and more.
Accommodation: All accommodation is full-board (includes three meals daily.) This school offers boarding school accommodation on campus and homestay options to be accommodated in local families. Twin, triple, and larger multiple rooms are available in the boarding school and homestay facilities.
School facilities: The school facilities include traditional boarding school accommodation and classrooms. There are also extensive on-site sporting facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, outdoor playing fields and indoor sports halls.

This amazing programme takes place at Cheltenham Ladies' College. Students will participate in three full day excursions per stays of two weeks and a varied programme of sports and leisure activities. Local transport, entrance and activities are included.
Students will be split in two groups: Juniors (8 - 13) and Seniors (13 - 17).
Students can choose from the following Plus options: Entrepreneurship, English Literature, STEAM and Horse Riding.
Spire Plus options can be booked for an additional cost of GBP 375.00 per week. These optional classes are held in the afternoon, generally just after lunch. Students will still able to participate in organised afternoon activities before dinner.
What is included in the programme fees?
- Full academic programme, including a placement test on arrival, 15 hours
- Full board accommodation in the Cheltenham Ladies’ College boarding houses in twin, triple, and larger bedrooms with shared bathroom. Students are advised that towels are not provided. - Meals are taken in the school dining hall. Dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking.
- The full social programme is also included, which consists of afternoon activities and team building exercises, visits to Cheltenham city centre, as well as one paid entrance/attraction per week. There are two full day excursions to places such as London and Oxford each week
