Location: Stafford House International Junior Centre Oakham is located in the beautiful market town of Oakham, in the countryside of England's east midlands. This is the ideal course for adventure seekers and students who just love the great outdoors. There will be a range of co-operative and competitive activities to choose from such as watersports, climbing, cycling and orienteering.
The students will take part in adventurous activities and challenges, developing fundamental physical and teamwork skills, so that they become increasingly competent and confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Students will also improve broader sports and social skills such as teamwork, strategy, physical agility, interpreting instructions and hand-eye coordination. The students will engage in competitive and co-operative physical activities in a range of challenging situations, both individually and with others, which builds character. By the end of the course students can expect to have improved their physical abilities and their ability to work as part of a team, as well as having lots of fun. Somerby Equestrian Centre is an approved ABRS and BHS riding school based in the heart of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, with miles of local bridleways.
Fun and engaging sessions taught by experienced instructors in high quality facilities. Once the student’s level has been assessed and strengths identified, they will be given different exercises to improve confidence and horsemanship. Students receive expert tuition in key skill areas including serving, returning and ball control. They will also receive instruction in skills such as court positioning and shot selection allowing students to work on and develop their match skills. Working in small groups, the coaches aim to develop players to their full potential
so the course is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced. Coaching sessions include circuits of activities, drills, coordination and movement exercises before moving on to match practice. The course is taught entirely in English so students build confidence in both their tennis skills and in using the English language.

The Red Star's Football school package is for a two week duration. Each week, students will receive 15 hours (20 lessons) of English classes and 15 hours of football coaching. The football programme includes a course book on how to communicate with people involved in the football environment, training on how to use vocabulary on the pitch, training sessions to improve the students football skills. The football skills that will be worked on during these practical sessions include: control of the ball, movement, passing, tactics, formation and positioning. Both defending and attacking positions are covered throughout the training. Extras that students benefit from is a free Red Stars School kit pack, Full day excursion to Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium and weekly visits from ex-international football players.
This popular course includes coaching and interaction with some of the stars of world football! The 15-hour-per-week coaching programme has been written exclusively for Stafford House by football legend Michael Owen and will be overseen by ex-Liverpool Captain and England International Mark Wright, alongside other fully qualified and experienced coaches. Once per course, there will be a surprise visit from a footballing legend, and opportunities will be availabe for all students to train with the players as well as taking photos and receiving signed gifts. Whilst we can’t plan any specific player, we can guarantee that it will be an ex-international first team player from one of the top six clubs in England. Ex-players include: Robbie Fowler, Robbie Savage, Steve McManaman, Didi Hamaan, Paul Scholes, Owen Hargreaves, John Arne Riise, Paul Ince, John Barnes, Paul Merson, Darren Bent, Joe Cole and Dennis Wise.
This programme gives students an opportunity to improve their football skills under the guidance of specialist Red Star football coaches. Coaching sessions are carried out in small groups and aim to develop the players both individually and as a group. Football skills will include: ball control, passing and moving, agility, positioning, tactics and formations as well as understanding the art of defending and attacking. This unique programme is delivered using Red Stars School’s teaching philosophy. Tuition will focus on spoken communication and will be based on a syllabus especially designed for those with an interest in football. Dedicated lesson materials will be used for communicating with players, coaching staff, journalists, agents and fans. The programme includes a full-day excursion to the £1billion Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
