Location: Agora Language Center is located in Playa del Carmen, along the eastern shoreline of Mexico's Yucutan Peninsula, located along the northwest portion of the Caribbean Sea. Famous for its beautiful white-sanded beaches, the beach is within four blocks of the school's front doors, with the city's main street, filled with shops, restaurants and supermarkets, also only three blocks away. Playa Del Carmen is both beautiful and culturally rich, with much to offer its visitors. Agora Language Center offers a great platform for students to enjoy their time whilst learning as much as possible at the same time!

Course selection: The school offers General Spanish courses in groups, private lessons or group and private lessons in conjunction with one another, dependent on a student's needs. Courses are available to students of all levels, with the option to supplement your course with the variety of afternoon and evening activities, as well as weekend trips, offered through the school. Such trips may include swimming with turtles in Akumal, visiting Mayan sites such as Cobá, Tulum or Chichén Itzá, as well as further extraordinary activities such as swimming with whale sharks!

School facilities: The school's facilities include a cafeteria, free parking, library, lounge, free Wi-Fi, fridge and microwave usage and free coffee and water. Air conditioning is in all classrooms, making sure that you are comfortable in the year-round hot weather.

Accommodation: Should you require accommodation whilst in Playa del Carmen, Agora Language Center are happy to assist with options in both Homestay accommodation with local families, with local hostels, apartments and studios readily available.

The teacher, Yant, is a walking encyclopaedia of languages and an excellent and talented teacher. She intensified and slowed down the lessons when we had weak points. I also had the opportunity to apply and improve my knowledge with many speaking periods. Will return. In summary: an excellent Escuela. Bravo!”

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 25 US$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
