Location: Alexandria Institute Paros is a Greek language institute located on the popular and unique island of Paros, Greece, in the central Aegean Sea. The school is housed in the Arkas Inn Hotel, close to the coastline, several eateries, links to public transport and attractions such as the clear waters and white sands of Paralia Logaras. The views from the school are outstanding and unique, looking out over the port and its boats. There are several bars, eateries and options for accommodation close to the school.
Social and cultural: Attractions and excursions available in the area include snorkelling, horse riding, cooking, catamarans, boat rentals and much more.
Course selection: Summer programmes are available for students of all levels. These Modern Greek language and culture programmes are available for one, two, three or four-week durations.
Accommodation: These programmes are housed within the Arkas Inn Hotel, and the accommodation available is too. Various room types are available for students in both single and double rooms.
Getting around: Public buses, water taxis, regular taxis and organised tours are several means of transport available, allowing students to see around the island accordingly. The Paros Ferry Port is on the other side of the island, which is roughly 17km away or within a 25-minute taxi ride of the school.

Alexandria Institute organizes a Modern Greek language and culture course for all levels on one of the most popular Cyclades islands, Paros.
The courses include:
- Teaching material
- A cultural walk or a guided tour to a museum
- The welcome dinner
- The farewell dinner
- A Greek movie screening or a lecture on a subject related to Greek culture
- A dance lesson, or a cooking lesson, or a Greek music workshop
- Attendance certificate
Special note for 2024 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2024 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2023 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2024 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
