The school is situated in the city centre, 1-block away from Central Street station, in a multi-storey building, surrounded by conveniences such as eateries, cafés, restaurants and shops. With attractions such as The Palace Theatre, Stevens Alley Walk and the Calgary Tower all within walking distance, Annes Language House is very well placed for students to enjoy the city whilst achieving their language goals.
School facilities: A small school in size, Annes Language House strives to give students the necessary tools and attention to further their language skills in a professional, friendly and welcoming environment. The school's facilities include kitchen use for students, free water, WIFI and a student support desk for any questions or queries that arise. All classrooms are equipped with heating, air conditioning and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment. Adult students also have free access to a Fitness Gym on the same floor as the school.
Course selection: Course selection includes General English, Intensive Conversation and IELTS Preparation programmes, with something available to students of all levels.

After the Principal Course in the morning, there is one afternoon class focusing on speaking and conversation skills using learning materials from principal course. You will explore strategies for communicating effectively in a variety of social situations.

In 2023 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2024 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 75 C$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
