Location: Atpal Languages is located in the world's most bilingual city, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A city known for its rich cultural and educational background, Atpal Languages is situated in a prime position for students to further their language studies. Moments' walk from the Downtown, the school is surrounded by cafés, restaurants, museums and is within walking distance of such attractions as The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, The Old Port of Montreal and The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. The tourist information centre for the city is also only a short walk from the school, ensuring students have all of the information needed, to create lasting memories of their time in Montreal.

Course selection: Full-time and part-time courses are available for learning English or French, with something suitable for students of all levels. With many years of experience in teaching both English and French, Atpal has a dedicated team of teachers that both encourage and motivate students to reach their language goals. They also provide a full activity calendar for all students to enjoy in their free time.

Accommodation: The school has several options for accommodation in Homestay, Residence and Shared Apartments, catering to the needs of all students.

“The location was great and everyone was very friendly.”

“I didn’t not like that I spent a week in an ‘intro’ class where they had people wanting to learn French and people wanting to learn English all in the same room. It felt like a waste of time and didn’t serve much purpose other then to wait for a spot in my actual beginner class ( which I felt I should have just gone right away) the placement test didn’t feel like it really evaluated where each person was at— For French it didn’t matter as everyone had to start from the beginning regardless of their level. You end up having a new teacher each week and some students stay on and some leave and new ones come in. It’s a little weird not to have the consistency of one class with. Continuation. It felt disorienting to me. There didn’t seem to be a focus during the day. There was a lot of talking and at some point we may get to a section of grammar but there didn’t feel much order in the manner. Erik from France is the best teacher there. I would go back just to be in his class for a week. ”

Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 50 C$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
