Location: Banana Spanish School Quito is a Spanish Language centre located in the culturally rich capital city of Ecuador, Quito. Housed in the La Floresta neighbourhood, a popular area with much to offer in entertainment, gastronomy and attractions, the school is within walking distance of several sites and places of social and cultural interest.
Course selection: In addition to General Spanish courses taught in small groups and available to students of all levels, the school also supplies individual Spanish lessons that are available in person or online. Private lessons can be taken in conjunction with or independently from any other programme.
Getting around: The school is within walking distance of many links to public transport, ensuring that travel in and around the city can be made with ease. The Estacion El Ejido metro station is around a 20-minute journey from the school via public transport or a 27-minute walk.
Social and cultural: Banana Spanish School Quito provides a diverse activities calendar for students to embrace the local culture and its surroundings. Such activities can include tours to local markets, museums, and the historic city centre, cooking classes, dancing classes, lectures on ecology, economy, politics and history and several options for weekend excursions. Weekend excursions can include trips to Cotopaxi National Park and the crater lake Quilotoa, Otavalocity, the Middle of the World and much more.

“Essentially a friendly approach, especially the reception was always very friendly.”
“I don't find it very suitable to be given homework for 1 hour after 6 hours of lessons. Especially as I would like to use my holiday more to get to know the city. The one younger teacher also seemed to me to have little sensitivity, which is why I often felt uncomfortable in her lessons.”
