Course selection: English Outdoors provides General English programmes available to students of all levels, over various schedules and intensities. The school also provides Junior programmes throughout the summer months for students aged 13-17.

Such activities can include a Bushwick graffiti tour, Brooklyn Bridge & Dumbo walking tours and film tours in Manhattan. The EO Morning class is a general English language course taught in small classes which allows our expert teachers to provide individual feedback and advice on how to improve and further develop language skills.
Lessons focus on learning through real-life communication and everyday situations, interesting contexts, and a variety of material, while continuing to improve all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) as well as grammar and vocabulary. Classes are rich in cultural content and conversation and also include weekly cultural and educational field trips around the city.

This is a very popular course as it allows students to learn and progress faster with one-on-one attention from their assigned teacher. Topics covered during the 1-to-1's can include business, exam preparation, conversation, pronunciation, grammar, areas of interest (American culture, politics, current events….)

The Young Adults English program is designed for students aged 18 to 22 years old, who want to enjoy a full program of activities without all the supervision.
The Course & Activities only program includes English classes, selected activities & excursions, subway pass and selected evening activities). Monday to Saturday week 1 + Monday to Friday week 2.

The residence is located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn’s most central and vibrant neighborhood, only 5 minutes’ walk from one of the best views of the New York skyline from the Brooklyn Promenade.
On-site features include 24 hour security, key card entrance to residence and rooms, recreational lounges including a pool table and movie room, vending machines, and 24 hour access to I-pads in the lobby. Laundry facilities are also available for students’ use in the residence (about USD 5 for a wash and dry).

English Outdoors offer Individual English classes in New York City for personal and/or professional objectives. As each student has their own requirements and goals, it will be discussed with the student and tailor an English language program to suit their personal needs. This will take into account the time they have, their proficiency level, and their learning style.
Individual classes can be booked to prepare for an exam or entry into a university, to prepare for a business trip or event (conferences, workshops…), or to gain more fluency in the everyday use of the language for work or pleasure. If you are looking for a tailored program to meet your specific English-speaking language needs, the individual classes focus on specific English goals outside of the traditional, group classroom setting. With complete teacher attention, students who take individual courses rapidly improve in whatever content or skill area they choose.
