Location: Bucksmore English Language Summer School Magdalene College is located in the city of Cambridge, on the River Cam, in the east of England. Housed within Magdalene College, the seventh oldest Cambridge University College, founded in 1428, students have a unique setting to partake in well structured Junior Summer Programmes in Advanced studies, suitable to advanced level students. The school is just north of Cambridge city centre and boasts the longest stretch of the riverfront of any college in Cambridge. Students have excellent access to arrivals and departures from any of London's International Airports.

School facilities: The facilities of the school are excellent, offering everything a junior student may need to feel at ease in their surroundings whilst meeting their language goals. These facilities include a cafeteria, restaurant, auditorium, games room, garden, in addition to various indoor & outdoor sporting and social areas. All classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Course selection: Course selection at Magdalene College is open to native English speakers and international students with advanced English, due to the high-level subject tuition provided throughout the programme. The Advanced Studies Programme is an excellent choice for older teenagers who wish to take an in-depth look into possible subjects or professions they may like to take at an advanced study or university level. Students select two subjects to concentrate on per week, with course material, workshops, tutorials and projects, then given regarding their subject choice. These subjects include Psychology, Politics & International Relations, Engineering, Economics, Medicine, International Law and much more.

Each programme has 3 full-day excursions every 2 weeks. Excursions can include trips to London, Oxford and Cambridge College tours.
