Location: Riviera French Institute is in the Jean-Médecin neighbourhood of Nice. This area is filled with clothes shops, global eateries and an exciting nightlife with rooftop bars and fancy cocktail places. The school is to the north of the neighbourhood, close to the Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption.
Getting around: The central part of the city is walkable from the school. The school is a short walk from two major tram line stations, so students have access to both Line 2 and Line 1. Nice-Ville Train Station is a 5-minute walk from Riviera French Institute. This station has intercity connections as well as services to surrounding cities.
Course structure: A General French Course is taught at Riviera French Institute. The school also offers an academic course for University entry for students wanting to further their education at a French Institute. Students can increase their understanding of the use of the French language in a French corporate environment by taking Riviera French Institute’s business course. There is a teacher training programme for future teachers and an au pair package. Online courses are possible.
Cultural Programmes: Students wanting to immerse themself in French culture, the school provides packages which combine French lessons and cultural activities. These are available for both French Gastronomy and Wine Tasting.

Our “Au pair “ offer let student take 1h30 of French Courses.
The student chooses, at the beginning, his schedule according to the
selected pack. If wanted, it is possible to take 3 consecutive hours the
same day.
For information, we recommend minimum the “Three times a week’
pack, as the good solution. As you may know, learning a language
requires repetition and this pack allows to take courses every 2 days.
CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
Proof of employment as Au Pair must be provided upon registration
application. An ID card or passport is required too.
You must be under 30 years old to apply.
Registration fee of 120€ (non refundable). Our school provides a
preregistration certificate to help to obtain the «Au Pair» visa for student
from countries outside the European Union.
The minimum duration of the course is 3 months.
A deposit of 30% of the bill is requested and must be paid no later than
15 days before the first course. This deposit will be deducted from the
total amount but is non-refundable.

- The general content of the course covers: French civilization, oral production, listening comprehension, written comprehension, written expression and grammar.
- The teacher gives homework in grammar to each student. Exercises are given individually and are different from one student to another, because the teacher gives them according to the level and help to resolve personal encountered difficulties. The exercises are reviewed with the teacher in classroom.
- The teacher adapts to each one of the students by offering activities related to civilization, speaking and listening comprehension that allow each to evolve and grow according to their level.
