Location: CIEL Brest is located on the outskirts of the port city of Brest, in the region of Brittany, France. The school is housed in a superb 19th-century manor house, on 2 hectares of land, right in the heart of Brest bay. For students who like sports, there are lots of opportunities.
Course selection: The school supplies French language courses suitable for students of all levels and many necessities. In addition to General French courses taught over several schedules and intensities, CIEL also provides Teacher Training courses, Individual Business French programmes, private tuition and General French with various additional subjects such as history, oral communication and water sports.
Social and cultural: The school has a great activity and excursions programme for students to take in many of the cultural aspects of Brest and its surrounding areas. Excursions and activities arranged by the school can include many established theatres such as the Quartz Theatre, the Cárene concert hall, L'Alizé concert hall and several cinemas and museums. Boat trips on the Rade of Brest are also frequently organised by the school.

Course held at EESAB-Brest
Course in closed group, 7 students minimum/15 maximum.
64 hours class over 6 weeks.
4 blocs of 16 hours :
Plastic Arts: experimenting with different techniques and different mediums ;examples of exercises given to the students of the EESAB-Brest site ; collective hanging of works.
Design: the main types of design, the design methodology, practical exercises…
Materials and techniques:the categories of materials, their uses: examples and exercises.
Preparation for competitive examination of Schools of Art & Design: artistic higher education in France, expectations of the schools, how to prepare one’s interview with juries…
Program
Notions of history and theory of arts and design for an understanding of the reality and issues of art and design today.
Practical exercises, like those offered in the first year of French art and design schools ; plastic experimentations.
Hanging, Wall hanging (how to present one’s work in an exhibition space).
Progression – Evaluations – Monitoring
Group and individual monitoring by the Teacher of each block.
Mid-term test and final test at the end of the session (evaluation of acquired knowledge and techniques).
Evaluation based on the understanding of instructions, of the formal answers given to them, the evolution of practices during the 16 hours and the final restitution.
Individual progress reports with the responsible Teacher.

French language lessons are held in the morning and water sports activities in the afternoon.

Duration: 1 to 8 weeks
Deadline for registration: 1 month before the starting date.
Organisation of the watersports activities: every afternoon from Monday – Friday
Included in the price: the activities described in the programme, accompaniment from the school to the club on the first day, a sailing federation license and the use of a wet suit.
