You will use a modern course book in order to follow a structured curriculum, with additional activities and materials being provided by the school’s professional and experienced team of teachers.

Every week you will be able to have a progress meeting with your teacher, which is intended to monitor your progress and ensure that you are happy and on track with your language journey within the academy.

Other comments A big problem regarding host family accomodation : I called the family the day before departure, and I discovered that she could not host me and that she had warned the school. Fortunately the person I contacted on the emergency number solved the pb. But it is a bad surprise the evening before departure. Especially as I was not as close to the school as before. Moreover the school's address was not good: I've discovered this upon arrival. The new family was very friendly and caring but the house was not clean

Summer Shuttle Service operates only from 30 Jun to 18 Aug only from Gatwick and Heathrow airports: GBP 175 (one way.

Students booking 21 weeks or more will have a free airport transfer on arrival from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.

Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 59 £. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

How does the organisation work if I am doing a course at the same time as my children?
“Children will be located in Garden House for Junior Courses
Adult may be located in Arnett House Head Office (4mins walk) to Garden House or from Christchurch Uni which is 12-15mins walk.
Concorde staff provide supervision for children 08.30 – 16.45 to allow parents sufficient time to walk between the two locations.”

“If you are looking for a general English course, you can choose any of the school's 15, 21 or 25 lessons/week courses. You will take a level test, either online or in person, on the first day of your course, which will let the school know what your current level is. The school can then place you in the most suitable group. The other students in your class will be at a similar level to you.
However, if you are looking for a CAE (C1) exam preparation course, you should book their Exam Preparation Course - CAE. This course prepares students for the CAE exam.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
