Total Immersion: Concorde International Home Language Tuition provides top quality English learning in Canterbury, in the most immersive of situations: in the teacher’s own home. Students with Concorde International HLT in Canterbury spend each day living alongside the teacher and their family, blending formal lessons with casual conversation throughout the day.
Advantages: The advantages to following a Concorde International Home Language Tuition programme are many: Nothing can match them in terms of complete and total language immersion. They are fast and effective, ideal for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time and wants to achieve their goals quickly. Students on these programmes gain a deeper cultural understanding, well beyond what one might gain as a tourist in England UK. The content of each programme is tailor-made for each individual student, and not only in terms of language learning but also with the different add-on activities.
Standard Programme: A typical day on a standard English programme in Canterbury would include a minimum of 3 hours of formal English language classes, usually in the morning, and then interacting with your teacher and the rest of their household on an informal level throughout the day, at meals, and in the day-to-day of the family.
Courses: Since these are tailor-made programmes, students will find many options to choose from as a starting point. General English language lessons are available at different levels of intensity, for individuals, or for two students together, and there’s even a parent and child combination course which includes local outings and activities. Adult students can request a more specific programme for exam preparation or if their needs tend more towards Corporate English. It’s also worth considering including the Local outings and Activities option in Canterbury. This way you can enjoy exploring Canterbury accompanied by your teacher while practicing your English.
Origins: Concorde International Home Language Tuition is an offshoot of the excellent Concorde International School in Canterbury, England. Terms of Concorde International Home Language Tuition
First day of course
Written and oral level test is performed. Students should arrive at
Payment methods accepted for payments made directly to the school
Visa Documents
Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
Check visa requirements for nationals from other countries.Nationals from countries that require a visa will receive documents from the school, related to booking confirmation, which is required for the visa application.
