How we create the points regarding what we like/dislike about a school

Location: Located in the central university district of Madrid, Don Quijote Madrid is housed in a beautiful, fully renovated building, surrounded by a young and vibrant atmosphere. Next door to the 18th century Liria Palace and within a 5-minute walk from the famous Plaza de España, Gran Via and the Templo de Debod, you are in a great place to enjoy the city to its fullest.

Course selection: Don Quijote Madrid give courses that prepare students for the real world of speaking Spanish. Along with their General Spanish programmes, which can be taken in conjunction with Flamenco dancing, Salsa or Yoga, they offer preparation courses for both the DELE and SIELE exams. They also have a Gap Year programme for students
looking to stay for longer durations of study, fully immersive Junior Summer Schools and have Refresher courses for Teachers at certain times of the year.

Accommodation: In terms of accommodation, the school have Student Residences close by, allowing students to spend less time getting to and from the school and more time enjoying the city, its people and the experience of meeting their fellow students. Excellent Homestay options are also available.

Activities and social engagements: To assist students in getting the most out of their time in Madrid, Don Quijote Madrid promotes many free activities such as City Tours, going to Retiro Park, Chueca and San Anton Market along with optional excursions to Toledo, Segovia, Avila and Seville to name a few.

Comments about courses

The registration fee is valid for 1 year and is waived when the course takes place up to 12 months from the previous reservation.

Health Insurance (mandatory for students under 18): EUR 50 per week.

CANCELLATION GUARANTEE: EUR 75 per week.

Allows students to cancel programme for ANY reason (I.e., examination, work, illness, visa issues...). Does not apply to private apartments or hotels.

Before arrival
Changes to your confirmed booking (start dates, programme, or services) can be made up to 2 weeks before your arrival.
One change is free of charge. After the first change, each change will be charged: EUR 100.

After arrival
Change of destination, school, programme, or accommodation subject to availability. Any difference in price will be charged to the student. Costs EUR 100.

Does not apply to summer camps. 2 weeks of advance notice is required.
