Location: Don Quijote Montevideo is located in the culturally rich capital city of Uruguay, Montevideo. Housed in the city centre, students will find eateries, shops, galleries, museums and places of interest close by. Such sites of interest within walking distance of the school include several museums, the Plaza de la Constitucion, the Gateway of the Citadel, Palacio Salvo and much more. The Carrasco International Airport is an hour's journey of the school via train or a 45-minute taxi ride.
Course selection: In addition to General Spanish, which is available to students of all levels over various schedules and intensities, Don Quijote Montevideo also provides private DELE or CELU Exam preparation programmes, combination programmes of group and private lessons, and Spanish + Dancing. Private tuition may be taken in conjunction with or independently from any other programme.
Accommodation: Don Quijote Montevideo can provide students with homestay accommodation in local families, subject to availability.
Social and cultural: The school is very well informed as to the happenings of the local areas and is happy to assist students with ideas of how they can enjoy the city and its surroundings the most. The city also hosts several UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Recommendations for excursions include going to the Isla de Lobos to watch sea lions, going to Punta Ballena to see colossal whales or taking part in the many water sports available in the area.
