Location: Easy Italian Language & Art (E.I.L.A) School is located in the beautiful district of Cannaregio in Venice, next to the lagoon and only a 5-minute walk from the Ponte dei Tre Archi. Close to the school, there are several restaurants, serving the best in Italian cuisine, along with many other attractions and museums, giving students an excellent platform to enjoy the fascinating beauty of Venice.
Teaching style: The methodology of the school is unique, using a modern, fun and innovative teaching method called T.P.S.R (Total Physical Singing Response). The method is very active, with students learning to put new grammar into context through playful educational activities. The school has a warm and inclusive philosophy, making students feel comfortable and part of its larger network wherever possible. All of the teachers at E.I.L.A are specialised in teaching Italian to foreigners, ensuring students receive the highest quality of teaching during their time with the school.
Course structure: E.I.L.A has a variety of courses for students, with lessons in groups or individually depending on your preference. The school's group lessons are always kept to small numbers, enhancing the student's experience as well as giving each student the individual attention needed to enjoy their course and time in Venice to the fullest. Courses include General Italian, an Evening Italian Course, An Art History course along with an Italian Language course in the
Venetian Museum. Training courses for aspiring Italian teachers are also available.

Learning Italian in Venice is easy with this school. If you are interested in learning useful phrases in Italian and getting to know a part of beautiful Venice, without locking yourself up in a classroom, this is the right course for you. Qualified teachers, with experience teaching Italian in Italy and abroad, will accompany you in discovering Venice and the Italian language.
The teachers will use a small whiteboard to explain some important phrases in Italian that you can reuse during your trip. You will walk on the “fondamenta” (streets) that run along the typical Venetian canals, crossing fields (squares) and passing through narrow alleys called “calli”. Savor the real Venice discovering a less touristy side. At the end of the course you will be able to ask the cost of a product, the bill in a bar, where a particular place is, and introduce you to locals and have a short conversation and much more. Their teachers will use playful teaching techniques to make learning Italian fun. At the beginning of the course, you will also receive a nice brochure to read with the teacher during the travelling course. Students will practice Italian while discovering Venice and learning about Italian art history through visits to Venetian churches, museums and palaces. Entrance fees not included.
The Art History course is an interesting course that take place in Venice. Students will talk and walk through Venice with an Art history teacher. They will have the opportunity to get to know the artistic history of this beautiful city, and at the same time will refresh their Italian, learning new words linked to Art history. Teachers are qualified and easy going.

The lessons are held in the Querini Stampalia Library and Museum, with classes held in a different room each day.
This course Italian language course is very different from others. We will discover the fantastic Querini Stampalia museum and every day we will stay in different rooms of museum. This is a very active way to learn as teachers use a white board, a brochure that you will receive and provide several questions-answer sessions.
For more advanced levels, we will do a grammar refresh, and we will discuss different topics that we will find in every room of the museum.

Nice room in Cannaregio 5 minutes from Tre Archi bridge. Very nice and calm area, close to lagoon (nice sunset) The flat has been restored. You will have a kitchen where you can cook dinner and lunch (sometimes after 1 p.m) the Room is in the same building of the school... so you will not arrive late to the lessons. Very useful.
