Location: EC English Vancouver is located in the beautifully scenic city of Vancouver, Canada. Situated in the heart of the downtown area, the school is surrounded by a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and several of the city's attractions. Escaping from the downtown inner-city hustle is easy whilst at EC Vancouver as the beautiful green space of Stanley Park, which also houses the Vancouver Aquarium, is within a 30-minute walk of the school's front doors. Also within walking distance, students have attractions such as the Science World Museum, the Vancouver Art Gallery, multiple parks, shopping malls and the Vancouver Public Library. With the Granville and Vancouver City Centre Metro stations, only a moment's walk from the school, students of EC Vancouver have the city and its attractions at their fingertips.
School facilities: The facilities of EC Vancouver are of a very high standard, offering everything a student may need to feel comfortable inside and outside of the classroom. These facilities include a library, a lounge area, a computer lab and free WIFI. Classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards, air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Social and Cultural: The school offers a varied social and cultural programme of activities, excursions and workshops, many of which are free of charge. Such activities and workshops can include pronunciation clinics, a series of lectures, Conversation Sessions, a Lynn Canyon and Chinatown tour, yoga, soccer, and much more!
What makes the school special: EC English has a number of interesting extras included with the course: Free Access to Microsoft Office for the duration of the course; Orange Carpet Experience; Sunday Welcome Activity; extra language workshops and activities and access to MyEC from booking.

This includes negotiations, management, HR, branding, promotional strategies, project management, business ethics, giving presentations, and preparing for interviews. Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately 10 C$ per week.
Comments about courses
EC Canada will now assess the need for a Provincial Attestation Letter(PAL) for students wanting to study in Vancouver and Toronto. This will be on a case by case basis. Additional fees:
- Study Permit Fee: CAD 110 per LOA (for all 25 week+ courses).
- Provincial Letter of Attestation: CAD 110. Plus 10% tuition deposit.
Students under 18 must book homestay, a return airport transfer and provide a parental consent form. Minors traveling with parents are exempt from these requirements. - Canada Custodianship Fee: CAD 150 applies if requested by Canadian Embassy.
High season fee not applicable to bookings longer than 12 weeks.
Additional fees: - Bank transfer fee: CAD 40.
