Location: EF International Language Center Sydney is located in the coastal metropolis of Sydney, southern Australia. A city famous for its beaches and great weather, in addition to its rich cultural and artistic value, Sydney offers students a unique backdrop for their studies. EF Sydney is housed in the trendy Chippendale district, in modern facilities surrounded by coffee houses, art galleries and within walking distance of attractions such as the Victoria and Prince Alfred Parks. Attractions such as Darling Harbour, the Sydney Opera House and the Museum of Contemporary Art are within a 30-minute train ride of the school. Bondi Beach is also within easy reach, around a 50-minute journey from Cleveland Train Station which is within 200m of the school. Sydney Airport offers domestic and international flights and is within 25 minutes of the school via public transport.

School facilities: The school offers facilities complete to give students of all ages a unique and pleasant experience in Sydney. The facilities include a cafeteria, lounge area, outdoor garden, a computer lab, games room and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise. Each classroom is equipped with air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Social and Cultural: EF Sydney organises regular excursions to the Blue Mountains, Canberra and Taronga Zoo.

Course material
Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately € per course level.
Comments about courses

The cost of course materials vary depending on the duration of the course:
1-6 weeks: EUR 55.
7-12 weeks: EUR 95.

Exam Courses (Any Language): EUR 60

Cancellation Protection fee: EUR 85 (Non-refundable).

Students must book travel insurance, which covers the whole period of the course and stay in Brisbane. Students can book Erika Insurance Coverage via the school:

  • Two weeks: EUR 85.
  • Per additional extra week: EUR 40.
    Students can have another insurance but they must prove they have booked another one.

    Accommodation:
  • The twin room homestay included in the tuition price can be upgraded to a single room homestay for EUR 55 per week.
  • Homestays are no further than 45 minutes by public transportation from school.
  • Residence accommodation is also available upon request and subject to availability.

    Special dietary requirements will cost EUR 50 per week.
    Classes are likely to take place on some days in the morning and other days in the afternoon. Students will be given the exact timetable closer to the start date. These are sample times and lessons will fall within the time frames stated depending on availability and time of year.
Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 120 €. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

School policy regarding bank holidays:Private classes are recuperated or refunded. Same as for nearly all language schools, group classes falling on bank holiday are not refunded and not recuperated.
