Location: EF International Language Center Victoria is located in the capital of British Columbia, the city of Victoria, Vancouver Island, Canada. A student-orientated city, Victoria is renowned for its rugged landscapes and beauty. EF Victoria is in the heart of the city, surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafés and many of Victoria's attractions, such as its Chinatown, Public Market, the Royal BC Museum, Miniature World and the Victoria Bug Zoo! The beautiful green space of Beacon Hill Park is also just a 25-minute walk from the school, ensuring that students have everything they may need to enjoy their time in Victoria close to the school. Victoria International Airport is within a 60-minute journey of the school via public transport.

School facilities: The facilities of EF Victoria are modern and spacious, offering a friendly and comfortable atmosphere from which students can reach their language goals. Facilities include large communal lounge areas, a computer lab, a cafeteria, free WIFI and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise. All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and have ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Getting around: EF Victoria is close to public transport links, ensuring that students can travel around Vancouver Island and beyond with ease.

Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately 55 € per course level.
Comments about courses

The cost of course materials vary depending on the duration of the course:
1-6 weeks: EUR 55.
7-12 weeks: EUR 95.

Exam Courses (Any Language): EUR 60

Cancellation Protection fee: EUR 85 (Non-refundable).

Students must book travel insurance, which covers the whole period of the course and stay in Victoria. Students can book Erika Insurance Coverage via the school:

  • Two weeks: EUR 85.
  • Per additional extra week: EUR 40.
    Students can have another insurance but they must prove they have booked another one.

    Accommodation:
  • The twin room homestay included in the tuition price can be upgraded to a single room homestay for EUR 55 per week.
  • Homestays are no further than 45 minutes by public transportation from school.
  • Residence accommodation is also available upon request and subject to availability.

    Special dietary requirements will cost EUR 50 per week.
Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 120 €. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

If a bank holiday falls on a weekday there is no refund nor are missed lessons recuperated. This is the case for the majority of language schools.

A test to assess your exact language level takes place before the start of the course via an online form.
