Educational Testing Services (ETS), developers of the TOEFL iBT, have a cooperative agreement with ELS that allows students to take the official TOEFL test at the ELS Language Center.

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an assessment of English-language reading and listening skills for the workplace. Employers worldwide use the TOEIC test to determine who can communicate effectively in English across borders and cultures with coworkers and clients.

Students entering the Business English Program must attain a minimum score on the TOEIC exam, or achieve an advanced level on the ELS Pre-Arrival Test.

International students who wish to pursue undergraduate or graduate study at an American college or university that requires IELTS test scores should take this test. Note that the student must attain a certain minimum score on the test in order to gain acceptance to the college or university.
