Location: Embassy Junior Centre - South Bank London is an English summer school located in the popular South Bank area of London, England. The school is housed on the campus of South Bank University, a short distance from attractions such as the London Eye and the London Dungeon. There are several links to public transport nearby. Travel to the school from London airports can take between 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
School facilities: The school facilities include a self-service canteen, an indoor multi-purpose sports hall, and free WIFI throughout the accommodation, social, and teaching areas.
Classrooms are modern, with projectors and access to online resources.
Course selection: Course selection with Embassy Junior Centre (EC) South Bank London is for fully immersive summer experiences. All programmes include 20 weekly lessons, afternoon and evening activities, half-day and full-day excursions, meals and accommodation.
Full-day trips can include Brighton, Cambridge and Canterbury. Half-day excursions may take students to explore the many sites and places of interest throughout London.
Evening activities can include scavenger hunts, discos, quiz nights, sports, movie nights and much more.
Accommodation: Accommodation is in residence, in single rooms with en-suite facilities. Each room has a bed, desk, wardrobe and chair. Bed linen is changed weekly. Student must bring their own towels. WIFI is available.
There are communal social spaces within each flat.

In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
