Location: Embassy Junior Centre (EC) Los Angeles is located in the vibrant and unique city of Los Angeles, West Coast, USA. The school is housed within the Northridge Campus of California State University, in San Fernando Valley. Course selection: Course selection with Embassy Junior Centre (EC Young Learners) in Los Angeles is fantastic for Junior students, offering a fully immersive English Language experience within the surroundings and facilities of one of the area's most renowned universities. On-site facilities include a swimming pool, computer room, an outdoor sand volleyball court, basketball court, indoor sports hall and a gym. All courses are inclusive of 20 weekly lessons, afternoon and evening activities and 2 full-day excursions per week, in addition to all meals and accommodation. Daytrips may include trips to Downtown LA, Hollywood, California Science Center and Disney Concert Hall, Grammy Museum and Griffith Observatory, and beach days.
Accommodation: Accommodation is housed within the University grounds, in an on-site residence spread across four buildings, with additional options in Homestay families also available. Room types available in the residence are twin rooms and twin rooms with en-suite facilities. Each room has a desk, wardrobe, chair and free WI-FI, ensuring students have all they need to keep in contact with their parents and guardians whilst enjoying their summer programme. The Homestay families are all selected to give the best experience, assistance and care to all junior students throughout their stay.

A large part of a summer school experience is exploring the local towns, larger cities, and famous attractions with new friends!
We strive to achieve a balance of time both in and out of the classroom to maximize the student experience. All our programmes include a variety of full day and half day excursions, and students also have the opportunity to take part in additional trips (known as optional excursions) if they want to explore the locality further.
When not out on excursions, we also offer our students a wide range of activities to enjoy. These activities vary differently from centre to centre and are very much dependent on the facilities available to us, but in general we always try to include a range of sporting and non-sporting events as well as larger, whole school, evening activities such as discos, karaoke and cultural quizzes.
