This course focuses on speaking, listening, writing, reading, grammar and communication skills.
The Intensive English Add-On is for all those who would like to make the most of their stay and work as intensively as possible on their English skills. The qualified native level teachers focus on fluency and accuracy in speaking, writing, listening and reading.
The 10 additional afternoon lessons are for students of all levels of English, from beginner to advanced, and the minimum age is 16.
During the Intensive English Add-On lessons you will:
- Deepen what you have learned during the General English Course
- Practise speaking, listening, writing and reading
- Learn to communicate in English in real-life situations
- Develop your understanding of grammar, vocabulary and idioms
- Work on your pronunciation
- Improve on your communication skills and on your general knowledge of the English language.
The 10 Add-On lessons take place Monday to Friday from 13:45 to 15:15 after the General English Course and a lunch breach.

This course focuses on speaking, listening, writing, reading, grammar and communication skills.
The General English Course is the right course for you if you wish to improve your fluency, accuracy and confidence when using the English language. You will develop your conversational skills, boost your English level quickly and effectively and improve your grammar knowledge.
The course is for adult students of all ages (minimum age 16) and levels: elementary to advanced. The teachers are qualified, native level speakers with experience in teaching English as a foreign language. Classes are of maximum 12 students in off-peak season and 15 students in peak season of different nationalities. Europa School of English is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK and a member of English UK and English UK South.
The General English Course is the foundation course on which you can build and add on any supplementary products; Intensive English, IELTS Preparation and English At Work.
In the General English Course you will:
- Practise speaking, listening, writing and reading,
- Learn to communicate in English in real-life situations,

Need to use English in your daily tasks at work and feel you could do with some help? Then the English At Work Add-On is just right for you. The qualified native level teachers will help you gain more confidence when using the English language and improve your fluency and accuracy in speaking, writing, listening and reading.
This Add-On helps you improve all aspects of your work communication skills focusing on all areas in a professional context such as writing professional letters and emails, answering phone calls, taking a message, delivering presentations and much more.
The 10 additional lessons are designed for students with an elementary to advanced level of English.

The IELTS Preparation Add-On can be booked with the General English Course to give you the perfect combination of confidence and skill for your upcoming IELTS exam. The qualified native level teachers help you work on your fluency and accuracy in speaking, writing, listening and reading.
The 10 additional lessons focus on the preparation for the Academic IELTS examination. IELTS is a widely accepted qualification if you need to study at university or work where English is the language of communication. The minimum age for the IELTS add-on is 16 years. Your level of English should be between intermediate and advanced.
During the IELTS Preparation lessons you will:
- Prepare for the four components of IELTS; Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking;
- Develop your grammar and pronunciation whilst studying Academic English;
- Acquire strategies and techniques for taking the IELTS examination;
- The course includes IELTS practice papers and sample test materials;
- Expand your Academic English vocabulary;

With one of the friendly homestay families, most of whom have been welcoming students for many years. You will make your own way to and from school. Most of the host families live close by, while others are further out, but a maximum of 45 minutes bus ride away. You’ll get half-board accommodation with breakfast and dinner. At the weekend, you will also be provided with a (packed) lunch in your private home.
