Bettina
27 years“The school is staffed by a team of people who were extraordinarily friendly and eager to help (well beyond what's required by job description!).”
Insider tips about what future students should not miss The 2-day Lares hike to the Lares water baths that travels through the Peruvian countryside boasts the most beautiful scenery my fiancé and I have ever seen. Bring hiking shoes, raincoat etc. even if you did not intend to go trekking! You may change your mind! ...It was also the most exhausting trip I've ever taken! The only reservation we have is that sometimes activities are only offered when there are enough students. (There was a large group of college students enrolled who had their own activities).

Other comments Our host parents, Sara and Abel are amongst the sweetest individuals we had ever met and we had wonderful dinner conversations. The food was delicious! However, the quality of the homestays did seem to vary amongst students and I think we were very lucky to be assigned the family we stayed with.

Other comments The city is full with culture and history. People are extremely nice and friendly and very easy to communicate with. Do your homework at the big Plaza in the center of the city, and you are sure to talk to some of the locals - a good opportunity to use what you have learned in school...the best way to learn the language.

Other comments I spent 12 weeks in Cusco, and my spanish improved a lot. The quality of this school is fantastic, I went also to other schools in different countries in South America, but this school is the best!!! And special thanks to my teacher Gina - she loves to teach, and I really learned a lot. I'm considering taking lessons again next year in this school. And just a tip, the nights in Cusco are very cold, so take some extra sweaters with you.
