Future Learning Language School Limited views its ways and methods as different from traditional learning, with much of the coursework, activities and education from FL schools based on group work, critical thinking, digital skills and collaborative projects.
Location: Future Learning Summer School Gormanston is located in the historic town of Gormanston, to the north of Dublin, in Ireland. Housed in a fantastic Gormanston Castle, on expansive grounds, with tree-lined pathways, FL Summer School Gormanston offers an opportunity for students to enjoy the school's culture and facilities whilst furthering their English and enjoying lively activities and programmes.
Course selection: The course selection at the school consists of 2 choices for junior students, the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) programme for 11-17-year-olds, with homestay or residential accommodation. All programmes include tuition, meals, activities, accommodation and excursions. A difference that is noted between the Homestay and Residential options is that the Residential programme comes with 24/7 supervision.
Accommodation: The school provides accommodation in Residence or Homestay. The onsite residence offers 282 beds located in the school's accommodation quarter. The refurbished and modern has a wide range of facilities and catering services for students.
Social and Cultural: Each of the available programmes comes with 7 evening activities per week, 1 half-day excursion per week, 1 full-day excursion per week and 1 Dublin city Sunday tour per week.

English Courses
This course includes English lessons in the mornings with fully qualified teachers in a technology enhanced classroom environment. As image and video are at the core of the learning process, please ensure that you have at minimum a smart phone, although for the full experience it would be preferable to have a Tablet or Ipad. For students under 12, it is possible to facilitate only supervised use of their device if informed in advance.
The afternoon is time spent with your peers doing organised activities with the school or once a week there is a half day excursion (13:30 – 18:30). Twice a week you will get the chance to take part in midweek evening activities (19:30 -21:30). There are 2 full day excursions on Saturday from 09:00 to 17:30 and Sunday from 11:00 to 17:30. Evening activities include; foot-golf, afternoon in Howth which includes a boat trip to Ireland’s Eye, unforgettable traditional Irish Ceili dancing night by former Riverdance members, beautiful cliff Walks, bowling & quaser, sailing and canoeing, indoor sports such as hockey, basketball, soccer etc., football, professional GAA coaching and lots more activities.

The main difference between the residential programme and the host family programme is the 24/7 supervision of the residential students. For this reason many of the students who choose the residence option are aged between 11 to 15 years.
There is a special dietary supplement of EUR 5 per night for those with food allergies such as a lactose intolerance or are celiac.
